He did and that’s when we made our run. Our bigs don’t play like bigs we need to go smaller in favor of a player who can do more offensively.

I'd love to see Rachal get more PT. I think his upside is tremendous and he'll get better the more PT he gets. Of course he twisted his ankle, don't know how bad it is.

I agree I love Rachals game and he’s a tough scrappy guy too. In this league you need fearles fighters and that’s what he is, he’s also got more range than he’s shown. Look at what Auburn’s doing and they have a small team, we don’t need a big front line to be good and our offense has suffered especially Waters since we’ve gone to the bigger lineup.

This team is crashing hard, hope they can turn it around. If this team is not playing fast they are screwed; stand around offense and weak interior defense.

We are now playing the meat and potatos of our schedule and teams see that we do not have a lot on the interior defensively. Most sec teams do have this. So they are slowing the game down to a crawl and banging down low to attack our weakness. Also keying on waters defensively. And it is a really tough game plan to deal with for a team with our personell and talent. The good news is that waters will probably be back next year for sure now. A lot of posters were laughing that he had no shot before, but getting on sportscenter every game while putting up great numbers had me worried if nba is his end goal.

The rub there is Vandy is the one team we have a definite advantage in that regard, we absolutely took advantage of that and still lost. And they were missing probably there best player.

A game we probably should have won, even on the road. That loss and Georgia really sting.

Our offense is predicated on getting the ball inside to DR first. After that it’s basically slashing and throwing up 3s. We don’t have the talent or defense to run a consistent offensive game plan.

Sounds a lot like the Trent Johnson offense with Justin Hamilton and Anthony Hickey running point. Basically I mean to say is that get it to Duop and play defense will not work.

Yep. Saturday was a bad loss for a number of reasons.

1. As you said, LSU should have matched up well with Vandy. This is a Vandy team that doesn't have much of a front line and isn't great on defense. It's completely disheartening that the team, particularly Waters, didn't show much fight on defense AND in the final 6 minutes of the game. Wade harps on those to aspects more than anything else and it's what let LSU down after fighting much of the 2nd half to get back into the game.

2. You got EVERYTHING you could have hoped for out of the Reath advantage. His career day was for nothing because no one else helped him out. If you would have told me before the game Reath would go for 31/13, I would have said LSU wins the game by 10+ points.

3. Vandy isn't a good team by any metric. This loss kills you twice so to speak because it is a bad loss metrics-wise AND you lost a golden opportunity to put another road win on the resume. Now you play @ Auburn, Tenn. and Florida. Notching even one road win out of those 3 would be a minor miracle.

That was very frustrating to me. His defense in the second half killed us. The kid he was guarding was a decent enough player, but certainly not a star, was blowing by him like he was standing still...consistently.

Not sure if it was effort, technique, focus or what but one thing I'm certain of....Waters is capable of playing better defense than that. and that's the disappointing part for me.

I think if I told you "Wop" had 12, and Epps and Sampson had 10 you'd be ok... He shoots in the paint, so we probably scored at a higher % the way we did it. We need Waters to control the game a little more, and since Bama showed everyone how to take him out of the game, or at least slow him down, we've been pretty boring.
