You do realize he spent more time in LSUs offense than his HS offense rt? You'd think after 4 years you can learn to run a diff offense.

Yea be he is not an under center type qb, and when you run the ball on 1st and 2nd down every time you got the ball then you get in an obvious pass situation what qb is going to flourish in that offense.

That's the "only" difference?!?!
yeah, basically, he used his head and made plays, big deal. And sure he had better accuracy on his passes, but he still missed passes in other instances. He read defenses better and had better poise?? I would say no to that, but evidently you think otherwise I'm guessing.

I know there are more 1st downs than any other, but look at the RAT and reassess your agenda.
Also, I don't have the stat, but never really noticed much accuracy improvement in gun.

Interested to see what Harris can do with a solid QB coach and an offense not stuck in 1973.

yeah it must have been all the lsu coaches fault for Harris missing on throws meant to get him in rythym.
Outside of Georgia Tech, there is no scheme at p5 confs program that allows the qb to be extremely inaccurate on short and intermediate throws.

This just isnt true. Specifically this last year. The coaches went out of their way to try to get Harris in rythym early.

In the Wisky game we passed 7 of the first 10 plays and all were incomplete.

Jacksonville State we also started out by throwing. Harris went 1-4 on throws that were meant to get him in rythym.
Its not on the coaches when a qb is inaccurate on swing passes,wr screens, slants and 7/8 yard comebacks.e

Plus, BH's older brother runs his fan page. Typed words did not come from him.
Really? That is pretty sad if true.

you don't think Etling read defenses better and had better poise than Harris? I don't see how anything could be more clear.

Etling was much calmer in the pocket, could read the defense, and check down when necessary. That was just blatantly obvious. If you couldn't see that, I honestly don't know what you were watching.

I don't know anything about UNC's depth chart.. is Harris gonna have a chance to start from day 1?

I think a Soph tops the depth chart, so there's a good chance, provided he can make the plays.
Possibly he can do better in spread system and I wish him luck.

True, Etling had better instruction at Purdue. Maybe Harris can capitalize on his new start. I'm pulling for him

Strange his RAT and % were better here than at Purdue...... where he actually regressed under their instruction.
