Jesus Christ dude stop. He had every opportunity. He came out and struggled against Wisconsin then his second game against a high school team couldn't hit an open receiver to save his soul. A QB coach can't teach you accuracy. You have it or you don't.

Arrived with much fan fare, leaves as a footnote to the Miles era. His lack of success is a mix of coaching shortcomings and issues involving his own lack of QB skills.

Well I give him credit for loving LSU enough to come here and try. He had his opportunities and it didn't work out for him. I wish him the best. The thing that a lot of people on here forget is that he is a young man and he loved LSU. There is no need to bash him.

I told yall last year that he was going to transfer, even after he said that he wasn't going to; just thought it would be after Spring practice.

McMillan is next...........

Interesting that less than 60 days ago, he was firmly committed to returning to LSU for his senior season. Now, he gone.
His indecision is not confined to the pocket.

Good luck to Harris, he has been nothing but a class act even as fans attacked him.

nobody "attacked" Harris. When a player voluntarily signs a scholarship to play football at a big-time school like LSU, they know there is going to be immense competition, pressure, and expectations. When those expectations aren't met, especially at the high-profile QB spot, it's fair for fans to criticize.

Harris isn't a snowflake and doesn't need a safe space. He voluntarily put himself in the spotlight, and if the lights are too bright, he's going to (rightly) take heat from the fans and media.

There are literally hundreds of FCS, D-II, and D-III schools with football programs where the pressure and expectations will be far lower. Any player can voluntarily choose to go there.

Death threats. He received death threats. That's not "immense competition, pressure, and expectations." That's not "fair criticism."

Harris seems like a very nice kid who simply couldn't deliver at QB. Virtually as soon as Etling was elegible to play, he started. He was the best option when he was the only option. He simply wasn't going to play here. Couldn't beat out DE and the new kids looked better. Hence: processed.

He was raw coming out. He would have road the pine at OSU and gotten maybe slightly better coaching running a HS offense at Auburn while not preparing him for the next level.

Would have been much better at either school. He had the dual threat coached right out of him at LSU, and was put in an archaic offense and was not developed much at all.

At Ohio St, he could have redshirted and would have likely stared as a RS senior, or would have been better developed so he could transfer and play at another school power 5 school (see Chad Kelly). Harris is definitely very physically talented and would have had Tom Herman as the OC for a year, who had every QB he coached up there completing at least 61% of their passes.

At Auburn, he has looked better than any QB they've had since Marshall, at LSU. So put in an offense that didn't limit him, would, at the very least, made him a lot more effective.

This. And it won't change. Good luck to BH but this worked out the way it had to.

Very talented athlete, however not a talented quarterback. His best shot at the national football league is at a another position. I do wish him well.

I'm talking the overall attitude of the fan base. If you're saying we "attacked" Harris because a couple of inbred morons (out of millions of LSU fans) made an unserious "death threat," then we're not on the same page.

I mean, I see posters on this board tell other posters to DIAF or "play in traffic." You take them seriously? You think that's the overall attitude of this board?

Has there been any verification of this "
death threat" claim?

Jamie Howard seemed to believe they were real enough. Now, was there any real validity to the threats themselves as far as true intent to carry them out, probably not. But that's a moot point.
