Just what we needed... Something to blind the fans to think that his injury was the root of the offense problems

Last week someone predicted this - I wish I could find the post (or remember who said it ). Possibly the first "insider" rumor from the rant that has actually panned out.

News will come out in the coming weeks that a leader on this offense will have had a pre-bowl scheduled, immediate post game surgery to repair a nagging season injury. Not making excuses for this individual, but I'll let everyone else put the pieces of the said offensive digression puzzle together.

Somebody on here called this a couple of weeks ago. They said Harris would have an operation for a nagging injury that he suffered late in the season.

props to Harris, this really does help explain the regression in his play. As someone mentioned, he really didn't look the same after he took the shot on the TD pass to Dural during the Bama game. being 19-20 yrs old, having that kind of pain, and having SEC Dlineman running around trying to kill you can't be too comforting. Also helps explain why we may not have seen as much spread option toward during the closing stretch of the season.

It was right after the surgery news was announced and he quickly deleted the tweet. Not hard to put 2 and 2 together.

so the question is...why would Jennings "laugh his arse off" at Harris having surgery?

Not sure they use mesh anymore due to problems.

The excuses for our handicapped QB situation are never ending. This injury would explain why we never used Harris as a legit running option during or after the Bama game, but we didn't use him before, so......

At this point, I'll go ahead and just chuckle instead of the Jennings LMAO.

Sports hernias also cause your offense to use timeouts on first down, down by 3 scores with 10 minutes left in the game, in the red zone with game and play clock running, in 3 straight games.

So this surgery should clear up all the confusion.

I've heard that they can also result in inexplicable delay of game penalties coming off a burned TO.

That's what happens when you have emotional numb-nuts going off half cocked and acting like they know what's going on when in reality most times they don't have a fricking clue.

he also tweeted, and then subsequently deleted this after the surgery news came out today

Don't assume that just because they're football players, everything they tweet has something to do with football

Harris went into surgery for 5 hours to repair this. We wish him the best on a speedy recovery. Glenn Guilbeau just tweeted this....

quote:

Brandon Harris Sports Hernia Update: "Just got out of surgery," Harris texted. "Road to recover now!!!!" ... Said procedure took 5 hours.

And this one.....

Keith Hornsby on Brandon Harris playing through hernia injury: "He must be a tough s.o.b." Hornsby missed beginning of season w/ one. #LSU

Ahhh... so this must be why they stopped running Harris! I wondered why the read option and other designed qb run plays nearly vanished towards the end of the season.
