Was easily the Special Teams MVP for us this past year. Look forward to having him back for another year.

Given the performance of the special teams this year, calling him MVP is easy considering he was one of the few that did his job reasonably well. Might have been the only somewhat bright spot of special teams.

Considering what we lost in York I think Ramos was adequate at kicker as well
Hopefully Aaron Anderson can give us some juice in the return game

He was great this year. Not trying to take anything away from his excellent season, but he had absolutely no competition though.

Our return game was an absolute dumpster fire the first half of the year. Then it basically became non-existent, which was an upgrade, when we found someone who could call a fair catch and not fumble the ball. Our field goal kicking was shaky and serviceable at best. It's pretty sad that our punting game was the bright spot and only non-mediocre special teams unit this year.

Yea, 10 for 14…cleaning up the 3 for 6 from 30-39 should not be a problem. I hope Dibert can extend our range in the 50+ distances. He absolutely booted some kickoffs vs Purdue.

Glad he coming back but how much would he improve his draft stock by returning

He’s a punter. He’s likely not getting drafted. Probably getting a graduate degree for free.

LSU didn't put him in many high-stress situations (He didn't attempt a 50+ yard kick all season), but he generally delivered on the relatively few occasions he was sent out to kick. 10-14 with two of the misses being blocks. The longest kick he made all season (47 yards) was also his biggest. It was the FG at Florida to make it a two score game when it looked like Florida was going to come back and win.

I don't know if I'd say I'm completely confident in the kicking game just yet. But Ramos, in his first season of action, did enough to earn the job for next season with hopes that he can continue to improve.

Does Peyton Todd stay on scholarship at this point? I was hoping Bramblett could mentor him. He was an insanely talented punter in high school and very good athlete. Must have the yips.

Imagine how good Bramblett would be if Greg McMahon were still here.

I have a feeling he’ll transfer at this point, but try and stay close to home.

Obviously he has family in Monroe/West Monroe(ULM/Tech), but I think his girlfriend goes to LSU, so ULL/Tulane is possible. Obviously I’m just speculating, but this would be his 3rd year on the team without seeing the field.

Is Polian returning as ST coach in fact or in name only?
