Listening to Whit at SEC media days i honestly feel like he loved the honor but wasnt too keen on playing in that number because he loves the way 40 looks on him. He tried to push bordelon getting it as well. Players are very particular about their numbers.

I'm a fan of tradition, and the 18 and 7 are good for the team. I do think it's weird when a lineman get's the numbers. Unless he didn't want to keep 40 I just have a hard time not understanding why it's not Weeks? It would be awesome for one of these Dlineman to become so dominant that they end up in 7.
