Brady was huge but it's not like he brought in New plays that no one had seen. He was at New Orleans for 17-18 and they were great on offense before and after. What he did was open eyes to an open wide O ffense.

What do you think it would have taken to keep Brady?
Bigger salary like Aranda's?

Good luck coaching up a closet head case like Cam Newton to lead an NFL offense to a super bowl.

No amount of money can keep you from the NFL if that’s where you really want to be

Jorge Munoz will be the hire.

You expect him to turn down a potential OC at Oregon for pasing coordinator or Co-OC at LSU?

Dude we can find a quality WR coach/ passing coordinator. Sucks we're losing Brady, but as long as Munoz keeps helping with QBs and we keep the RPO scheme we'll be ok.

Not having 16 year olds be the lifeline of your career would be nice

My neighbor is related to Jake delhomme (who is still heavily involved with the Panthers) and he told me a couple of weeks ago that the Panthers and Joe had reached an agreement. Hence the NFL stipulation in his “new contract”

This actually makes perfect sense. The whole MOU was just to quiet the talk and distractions and get everybody confident and thinking about the game instead of worrying about Brady's future.

The MOU was just window dressing. They've been knowing that he's leaving.

Yea, because hating an entire fan base based on a few bad apples makes complete sense. That’s like saying your entire vacation was ruined because the flight attendant was mean to you.

Brady brought some concepts that I’m sure SE said these are great, let’s do it. SE still has these new concepts.
The question is does Ensminger know when to call what? Will he revert back to Toss Dive given Brennan's "inexperience."

SE broke several records before Brady came along.
Honest question...which?

This offense is contingent on a solid O-Line. Ensminger was prepared to go spread last season, but couldn't implement it due to the poor OL play. Go back and watch the offense in the Fiesta Bowl. The O-Line had cemented enough to begin running the spread that last game.

No. No way. This was Brady. I hope Ensminger has retained enough to call a similar season.

It’s not completely false. LSU tried to go full spread a few times at the beginning of last season and we knew we couldn’t when SELU was killing Burrow.

Steve did say that he asked for help because he hadnt installed rpos ever before. Downplaying his role is retarded. Hes also the one that was constantly on the phone with Burrow, going over what they were seeing, making adjustments.

Now, im not saying E didnt learn anything, but not having your rt hand man will change things. It was a good dynamic they had.

The vitriol directed at Derek on this board - and many others - is sickening.

How many others have made mistakes in their lives? Everyone.

This guy saw his dream and worked to achieve it.

He’s a great guy and great at what he does. His dedication is apparent.

I think it’s time that he is allowed his redemption in full force.

Geaux Tigers.
