Well, I guess if you predict all three positions for each of the top three teams, then you will have to be correct!

I'll wait for the predictions of someone knowledgeable, like lsumatt.

this is an asinine statement. espn wants edwards to predict things before having all the information because they are always trying to out scoop everyone else, regardless of accuracy.

when edwards makes his projections on the bcs countdown show, he is always correct because he has 93% of the data available. making predictions before the Coaches and Harris polls even come out is fricking stupid.... typical espn bullshite.

We gained more points in the Harris (6) while Oklahoma lost points (30). We gained on Oklahoma in the Coaches'; were behind by 25 points last week, 16 this week. Don't know what changes there will be in the computers but LSU played a team that did have a winning record until last night and both Alabama and Oklahoma played teams with losing records.

i think he had lsu at 2 before the games, 3 after, and 1 now that the polls came out.

espn should just let him make a prediction after the polls so he can have a reasonable chance at being correct

he already covered all his bases by saying the top 3 are so close that even the smallest of nut scratches can upset the balance of the top 3

He made that projection during the Oregon game. I wonder if that factored in and made that much of a difference having Oregon win.

LSUMatt sses no reason to come out yet.

LSU wins out - we are in.

LSUMatt's greatest value is if we lose one (or 2, ha ha).

Then he will use his computer model to determine a plan for us to get in the title game anyway, and he will outline for us ranters exactly what dominos need to fall, regardless of the insurmountable odds against us, for LSU to get in.

If it starts looking to the pundits like LSU has no chance, before the last 2 games Coach Miles will start reading LSUMatt's posts on the rant.

Then Miles will begin employing his superhuman powers of mental telepathy to force all the coaches and players in each of the key games to perform exactly as is necessary, for LSU to make the title game.

But Matt can sit back for now. He knows Miles won't bring out his "ace-in-the-hole" if it isn't needed.

Just win baby!

Yes cant wait for the lsumatt lovefest to start.. maybe one day rantards will realize how simple the bcs math is and how to look up the opensource algorithms of some of the polls.
