Just to see where you stand here LuckyLee, if LSU finishes the regular season with two losses and loses in the championship game in the SEC tournament (which are reasonable projections the way things are now), do you really think LSU won't get a 4-6 seed? I would bet on it.
Now given LSU's current level of play and accomplishments in the SEC, why would a "braketologist" predict LSU to just be average SEC team the rest of the year, which is the type of scenario that would lead us to a #8 seed at this point in time?
That screams lack of respect to me.

the "experts" seem to think LSU will fade out and only win the west at the most and that UK UT or UF will win the SEC overall, what are they gonna do if we win the SEC regular season and the tournament, committ suicide?

Undefeated the rest of the way or one loss in the SEC regular season and a tournament title and we get a 4 seed.

Oklahoma wouldn't be bad, Arkansas beat them and we pretty much dominated Arkansas for 40 minutes.

1) LSU still hasn't played UF or UK. I don't think you will beat both and the SEC tourney is a crapshoot.
2) If your scenario were to happen, I'd say LSU is definitely a 4-6. I'd guess that would get you a 5 seed.

You only have 2 decent opponents left. Beating scrubs like Auburn, Arky, Ole Miss, and Vandy doesn't mean much.

I agree with you, if we cruise through the SEC regular season with just one loss, and say lose in the Championship, we are a good bet for a 5 seed.
I think most "Experts" would agree as well, that beating 3 out of 4 of KY, USC, UF, and UT and finishing 2+ games up in the SEC is worth a 5 seed. It is just odd that the "Experts" don't expect good teams in other conferences to lose their level of current play, but a good team under the radar like LSU gets no benefit of the doubt.

Well I would think the first bracket is pretty suspect considering he has Florida playing in both the Philadelphia (8 seed) and Minneapolis (8 seed) brackets.

It pisses me off to no end that we beat Tennessee and ESPn keeps sucking them off. How are they a six and we are an 8?

Definitely not out of the realm of possibility, but that would require us winning at least 7 or 8 consecutive games.

A number four seeded LSU playing a number five seeded Kansas? Wow. I just might have to make the trip to Boise to see LSU play those dirty bastards.

The committee's headquarters must be in Knoxville.
They certainly don't like Texas much either.
