Interesting how 3 of teams with upward arrows are SEC teams.

I HATE when you click on an individual team and it shows you an preview (insider) on the #1 seed's game.

i said 2 weeks ago if we win the SEC tournament & continue to play the way we are (finish 5-2 or 6-1 in our final 7), a 4-seed is looking great for us

fo sho. The myth that our RPI and weak SOS is gonna cap us at a 5 or 6 is ridiculous. The SEC is still a top 6 conference and if we win BOTH the SEC and SEC tourney we will be rewarded.

Yeah, Lunardi apparently has been pretty accurate at predicting the field as well as being close on his seeding predictions (every time you hear him speak he mentions it), but I assume his final bracket before selection Sunday has more work put into it.

You keep saying this everywhere, but the SEC is THE 6th best conference. Also, the SEC is way closer to 7 than 5 conference RPI wise.

And the only Big East team with an up arrow is Villanova. Big East isn't all it was cracked up to be.

My problem with guys like this:

They take RPI into majority account unless its someone that is on Sportcenter all the time. When Duke or Kansas has an RPI that isn't at its peak, they get a degree assumption for future wins.

LSU is cruising through the SEC, but do we get any assumption of future wins for being the SEC's best team and our consistency of late? Of course not.

And so that's one more source that comes close to ignoring our accomplishments, which will hurt our ranking and could hurt our seed chances. Quite frustrating...

If we play Okla, I would start Q instead of CJ, just for the size factor alone.

There is no spin. In football and basketball, the 6 BCS conferences are almost always 1-6. This year is no different. Of course the SEC performed poorly OOC but they are still better than The A-10, Mountain West, C-USA, etc. and those conferences easily may have multiple representatives and teams with top 4 seeds.
