I think he is saying that Newman is our best pitcher. I would say Lange, but Newman is pretty damn good.

By any statistical means you look at, Newman has far and away been our best, most consistent pitcher this year...and it's not even really close

CPM's playoff record is pretty crappy since 2010. We're always out gunned guys. It's not negativity, but whether we pitch out ace or somebody else other teams just seem to have the edge on us.
