What do the Jordan's bring besides potential power? But, hell, if you can't hit the ball, what good does it do?

Josh Smith from CHS is going to start next year somewhere in the infield.

Everyone said the same thing about Trey Dawson this year.

You only need enough power to bloop the ball over the infielders. It seemed to work very well for Coastal Carolina.

Young Team Next Year

Ah...the losers creedo

This is the sort of thinking that keeps Miles at his job despite consistent underperformance.

That said, and acknowledging there's more parity in men's college baseball than any other sport, it is very disturbing that the only two home Super Regional series losses for LSU are under Manieri. Yes, I know...the format has only been around since the later 90s and LSU's only been in a limited number of them, but still...

Admittedly, I am not a hardcore LSU BB fan and by all accounts, this team played so over its heads it was ridiculous. But, with all of the supposedly returning players, and with a year experience, great things better happen next season or CPM will be (or, at least should be) looking for a job.

He's been fine at 3B. Deichmann is more of a defensive liability than Reid.

He was my next choice for poor in-fielding. Everybody else is solid to stellar.

Coastal Carolina didn't bloop anything. They hit everything hard.

It would be more disturbing if this was true. Alabama and Rice beat LSU in super-regionals in the Bertman era.

Apparently not.

I should have included "home" in my statement. I will correct that.

CCU off to a very good start in Omaha with defeat of UF. They might win it all.
