LSU fans. Arguing whether a team that finished in the top 10 and is starting the following year in the top 10 is “better” than Miles’ last few years. Never change.

thanks for at least acknowledging that youre absolutely wrong about 2017.

Tell me how I’m wrong about 2017, fricking glorious genius. I’ve told you over and over and over again that the 2017 team underachieved - and that’s why the OC isn’t here anymore.

Now, how about you defend those 2015 and 2016 offensive recruiting classes again?

RickyFantasy, did you ever come up with the public statement rather than the rah rah speech?

quote:

Following the team’s 29-9 win over Louisville, a game in which the Tigers held Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Lamar Jackson to 10 completions on 27 throws and 33 rushing yards on 26 carries, Orgeron made a bold prediction in the locker room.

“Coach O told us in the locker room,” offensive lineman Will Clapp said, according to Ross Dellenger of The Advocate. “‘it’s a great win, but next season, things are going to be different. We’re going to be in it (College Football Playoff).’”

In other news, RickDaddy, Madking, and Optimax Cat think coaches believe everything they tell their players in the locker room. ...

Well the pro LSU guys are lucid with well thought out posts. The anti LSU guys post emotion laden nonsensical blather.

Ricky likes to call everyone a liar then posts a photo of his story rather than a link because he knew what the truth was.

He might not have been talking about Canada (is Kiffen really the best OC in the nation?), but he sure as hell wasn't talking about Ensminger.

In Orgeron’s eyes, yes - that’s his buddy and long-time colleague. We can agree he wasn’t speaking about Ensminger, but he wasn’t speaking about Canada, either.

It was rather clear to everyone but the ones who like to rewrite history here.

quote:

“We’re going to look at recruiting the best offensive coordinator in football and bring him to LSU,” he said.

Who that might be, Orgeron was coy about. He said there were a “couple” of candidates in mind. Asked directly about Orgeron’s friend and former boss at Tennessee and USC, Lane Kiffin, Orgeron declined to get specific, reiterating it would be the best available coach out there.

But reports are already out that Kiffin is exactly who Orgeron is targeting. And with Orgeron’s salary set at between $3-4 million, according to reports, it makes sense that he’ll have the resources to make Kiffin the highest-paid assistant in college football.

They don't believe in positive reinforcement...apparently they take everything literally. Also who is to say O did not believe what he was saying and if he did why is that wrong?

Ricky posted a picture of the story rather than the actual facts to fire up his weak-minded lemmings into believing that Orgeron guaranteed and expected a title in 2017, but didn't, thus making him an abject failure. It's RickyManipulation 101.

As much as Ricky says he knows about football he must have never played if he doesn't understand coaches speak.

Can you imagine if when O took over he said we are 2-3 years away from competing with bama...everyone would have lost their shite. Coaches don't do that unless they are at a school with a tradition of losing.

Ben accuses others of being emotionally driven yet 90% of his posts are him being irrationally angry at those that disagree with him. Why so angry all of time Ben?

Yeah..

He still refused to answer some very simple questions about his theory, and claims that Clapp had to get Miles was using Clapp as a facilitator to spread his message of impending national dominance. That Clapp received permission to pass along that information.

Hes got a crazy imagination.

bencoleman, why such incomprehensible anger and unscrupulous opprobrium directed towards BilJ?

It's awesome that he posts only the picture so that he can author his own fictional account of what happened. He knows that his lemmings will drink it in. Then he calls everyone else a liar. That dud is unbelievable. I'm starting to lean towards putting him into the same category as Damone - just an amusing little troll.

And there it is.

Criticizing coach 0 is akin to being anti-LSU. You guys are nothing if not predictable.

It is awesome seeing the rise of LSU, after all of the failed predictions of LSU’ football in decline. We all love LSU football, some just don’t know how to enjoy it. LOL

When it's all you're doing here, why would anyone think otherwise?

its funny, every positive LSU football thread ends up back at the same ole tired arguments about promises, drafts, rankings....

Do you think it's possible to be upbeat about the football program and not like coach O? And bringing the hatred of the man into every single thread about football?

I totally agree. This 2019 team is going to be the best in years and the 2019 and 2020 recruiting classes are stellar. What do the masses do here? They complain about 2017.
