Herman, grimes, briles all seem like good possibilities with Aranda as HC.
Honestly in this age of great offenses, It might be nice to have a solid defensive mind in charge. Doesn’t mean our offense has to suck. Someone like aranda will understand the value of an uptempo hurry up offense (unlike coach o) , but enough to not put the defense in a bind. (Like Kiffin)

Not remotely true. Aranda interviewed for Nevada before Baylor.

Where were all of you in 2019-20?
This Aranda “scoop” is common knowledge. Aranda was set to take the UNLV job before the Baylor job opened. I even think he interviewed somewhere like San Jose St. Aranda was looking for any ticket out away from Orgeron.

Orgeron struck out trying to recruit 3 technique DEs like the kid from South Carolina. Muschamp convinced him he would shine more in a 4-3. Orgeron doesn’t like coaching DL in a 3-4.
I believe he was hellbent on switching to the 4-3 after Aranda but I don’t buy that he ran him off or that Aranda wasn’t already looking for something else like Nevada before he landed Baylor.

O deserves maybe, maybe 10% of credit for 2019 the more and more that we learn. He is the exact same coach that had the worst winning % in Ole Miss history. He is awful. He owes everything to Aranda and and little to Ensminger

Ed telling aranda to look elsewhere is different than aranda looking to get away from Ed on his own. The second scenario is more believable.
