the Raleigh regional "winner advances" game is suspended to 1 PM (central time) Tuesday
it's bases loaded with 1 out in the T9 with Coastal trying to rally down 5-3
if this was LSU in Coastal Carolina's position... I would be saying many 4 letter words... and none of them would be clear for broadcast

And if we had burned Bugg, Bain, and Reynolds and still lost, you would 100% be bitching about wasting them when your losing already.
Get real dude.
Next time, voice your displeasure about a pitching move before the wheels come off. Then you'll get a little cred.

Don't need cred. Not looking for cred. Didn't need to post it beforehand to be right. We gave up runs from guys who were not our best pitchers over the course of the year. We didn't play to win. We played it safe in Case of another game tomorrow, which only made it come true. Rice brought in their closer and it worked for them. Now anything can happen. If we lose tomorrow maybe we can look back at the opportunity we had in a tie game in the 5th.

holy shite
As for the game tonight, oh well, they hit when it counted and we didn't. On tomorrow with plenty of pitchers left to go

You do need to post beforehand to not be commenting on things in hindsight and considering youself some sort of baseball guru.
And I already told you, one of our best pitcher "over the course of the year" was Norman. Better ERA, hits allowed, and total earned runs allowed than Bugg, Reynolds, and Bain.
When you have another game to play, you don't throw the kitchen sink at the team when you're losing or tied. You throw everything at them when youre leading.

Who were Norman's numbers against? Answer that. Against solid SEC competition? Or midweek games? thats the problem with you and manieiri. You're all stats and metrics based. No instinct for who to go with and when. Your numbers on Norman are skewed.

And, you don't have to throw all of those guys I mentioned. Try one and if he doesn't work then you save the others. One run deficit is manageable. 6-run deficit is not.

A lot of people complain that Mainieri goes with his gut too often rather than stats actually.

He has starts against Southeastern (a tournament team),Tulane (another highly ranked tournament team). Since the end of April, Norman pitched against Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Florida in the SEC Tournament.
ETA: he also pitched against Texas A&M, Auburn, Vandy (twice), and Mississippi State.
Sooo almost every SEC series, Norman pitched.

Tired and angry and ready for revenge!

This possum thing is something special, I don't think we'll lose tonight. The box will be packed, fans will be loud, and the Tigers will roar. Geaux Tigers! Cook Rice!

No, I'm 90% certain LSU won when UF brought out the Owl stunt, and the announcers even mentioned that would be the end of them doing that.
