Frick off arse. I've watched just about every game this year. The truth is no one on this pitching staff was solid other than Lange for the last half to third of the season, Poche for the last few games and Newman who's been lights out for most of the season. Smith has pitched ok for a few games lately but he had too long of a rest. Still down one run, if you bring in Bain or Reynolds or bugg maybe you stop their rally with a 1-run deficit. Those are the guys that have gotten the most meaningful innings this year and put in the most stressful situations. Norman may have better stats but he wasn't used against SEC hitting. His numbers came in midweek games. Go look it up with your stats.
As I said, manieiri got the game back to even. Why he didn't go for the jugular is beyond me. Now we are in a must win and the pressure's all on us. It didn't help that deichman made that error but Paul did nothing really to stem the momentum.

Deichmann needs to move his feet and square some of those balls up. He tries to side swipe them too much. He's done this multiple game .
