That's right, you are not a true Louisianian, unless you are cajun or from New Orleans.

The yankees thought his accent was so awesome. They would ask "People dont really talk like that down there, do they?" and I would say "Mais no dey don't sound like dat."

Acting is mystical to some people. I was pissed after watching Shawshank Redemption when i found out that Morgan Freeman wasn't actually a convict. FAKE!

Who cares if he wasn't 100% Cajun?

My father, who died in March at the age of 90, watched his show on LPB every Saturday for years. Mr. Wilson brought decades of laughter and good recipes to many people.

I work with a company FULL of pierre partians. They all sound like that. Nothing great about cajun accents, it gets old hearing it all the time.

My father liked Sanford & Son. If I ever found out they weren't really black...I'd be really disappointed for him.

Hey hey lay off Justin, he was a damn good guy and loved LSU football

His Mom was 100 % Cajun

Although it was mostly an act yes, the guy could tell a story like no other.

I drank more than a few beers with the guy years ago at Gautreau's Bar in Port Vincent.

When i was younger i had a job at a restaurant/bakery in Ponchatoula where Justin would come in and buy bread sometimes. I remember being so disappointed the first time i met him and heard him talk....but he was an awesome person and one of the nicest men i've ever met. An all around great guy.
