The players, Coaching staff, and fans are so done with this year; Even if they could add another (BOWL) game, It would just bring more pain and suffering.
Realistically, I've accepted that O is probably not going to get fire until earliest would be next year.

TIME TO MOVE ON & Look ahead to changes and additions to this incredible program. Yes...INCREDIBLE program that wins championships; where opponents dreams come to DIE!

We made a lot of dreams come true this year.

ETA: we could be incredible, we got a taste of what it’s like to be last year. I feel like we’re close to sustaining that kind of success with a few right moves, starting at the top.

The good news about the bowl ban is that is does NOT ban the practices for the bowl, so LSU players still get those vital extra practices

What positives do you see going into next season as of right now?

It’s going to start a new trend. Start the season out 0-8 and then self impose a 1 year bowl ban for whatever skeletons are in your closet

Yep last thing this team needs.

A team that can’t cover

A team that can’t block

A team that doesn’t tackle all that well

Sure could not use a few extra practices.

Get your head out of the sand. You’d think the Les Miles situation would’ve cured that around here but instead it’s gotten worse.

I can not see this team actually practicing during that time. This team wants to gtf away from football for a while.

I assume there will be no reason for not being motivated this Spring when practice starts..

The last time an SEC team faced a 1 year Bowl Ban, Ole Miss in 2017, they lost an estimated $8 Million. So this does have an impact on LSU's AD Financial Statements, make no mistake.

LSU was headed to a 3-8 season, which would have been the most losses post NC. I think they finish 3-7 and end up tied with I think TCU at 3-7.

bowl games give teams extra practices which can be big in developing your young players going into spring practice

this is not true

If it helps us avoid harsher penalties it's a good trade-off

Means money in a year the school and athletic department could use it

Not much extra practice this year with the season being pushed back. A team in a lower bowl may only get an extra week of practice which would all be spent on bowl game preparations.
