“Orgeron said that sophomore quarterback Myles Brennan is "10 times better" since the spring and that the competition between him and Joe Burrow is so close that both of them might play”. If this true, why bring in Burrow. If Burrow doesn’t come to LSU, we still have McMillan and Narcisse

At LSU, the back up QB is always better.

Bc you try to improve. LN wasn't gonna be an impact guy any time soon and Mcmillian just wasn't very good. Can't blame Eaux for trying to make us better

Any time you have an opportunity to make your team better you do. If some players can’t handle the competition, you wish them well.

Well if it lit a fire under Brennan’s arse, it would be worth it just for that.

Because as I stated after watching a scrimmage and practices. The other two are way behind the two we have. It’s true MB has learned some pocket presence in the last month. SE has helped him tremendously

What if Brennan was pushed by Burrow?

If not, how in the world would Coach O know that Brennan would progress that much in fall camp back in May?

You gotta be pretty shitty to get 10x better since spring.

I’ll go with burrow based on that info.

Don't sweat over it, bro...that is just coach speak. You can bet he very well knows who the starter is by this point in time.

McMillan would have transferred regardless of who the starter was as long as it wasn’t him.

Most who have seen practice and scrimmages have said Burrow is the clear starter, this equal stuff is just coach speak to keep Miami on their toes.

Doesn’t matter if Brennan is better, he’s still built like a cinnamon stick.

Maybe.

Or McMillan still transfers and we only have Brennan and Narcisse. Is that better than Brennan and Burrow?

Or McMillan and Narcisse still transfer and you only have Brennan and walk-ons. Is that better than Brennan and Burrow?

IMO, McMillan leaves if not named the starter and Narcisse said as much in interviews. So the latter scenario could have been a distinct possibility.

If he's telling the truth, just be happy we have two good QBs. If Brennan turns out being as good as he was hyped to be out of high school, Narcisse probably wouldn't have played until his SR year anyway. McMillan was never seeing the field outside of garbage time. Players transfer. Get over it.

Because, at the time he brought in Burrow, Brennan was 10x worse according to O. Not really that difficult of a concept.
