Arkansas lost to UK
Mizzou lost to Ole Miss

The other two 8-6 teams play tomorrow night:

8-6 Florida is @ #19 Tennessee
8-6 Alabama is @ #12 Auburn

If they both lose, we are 1 game out of 3rd place in the SEC.

Just insane after Auburn, it's a big log jam between 3rd and like 10th.

So do we want UGA to win tomorrow night, to make a potential win Saturday look better? Or have them lose since they are also on the bubble then beat them and just wipe them off?

I don’t think we’re getting in based on SEC standing, but it wouldn’t hurt.

I can't wait for the SEC Tournament. That bitch is going to be a free-for-all that one of about 10 teams could win.

The Ark, Mizzou and A&M losses hurt LSU's NCAAT resume. Q1 wins are arguably the biggest metric the committee looks at. Ark and Mizzou losing could move them out of the RPI top 30. If so, LSU's Q1 wins total goes from 7 to 5.

Interesting to see a couple teams ahead of us lose on a night where we win. The plot thickens.

Tha Missouri Loss will hurt our RPI badly.

Will it?

The team they lost to (OM) is a team we also beat, so wouldn’t it cancel out? I honestly have no idea.

100% false. It does not affect our RPI at all because we play both teams 1 time. Otherwise it is a no change to our RPI.

RPI is based on 3 factors:

25% teams win%
50% opponents win % (strength of schedule)
25% opponents opponents win % (Opponents strength of schedule)

Thus if we played both teams 1 time, their outcome doesn't affect our RPI at all.

What I don't get is aTm currently has a 98% chance of making the tournament with a conference schedule of 6-9 and we are barely on the radar.

And Arkansas, Missouri, Alabama and Florida have lower chances of making the tourney with better records than aTm. This is so confusing.

We should get in over A&M, if we win out... they have another L coming Saturday at Vandy.

For comparison, we have #74 RPI and #58 SOS.

We have to start replacing these shitty non-conference games with big opponents.
