From your comment, I guess you have never listened to anything that he has had to say before today.

Wouldn't surprise me one iota if he did start Harris.

But I believe they should be in a rotation. Neither is a world beater, but Harris has higher upside, and having to (and having a chance to, on the field) earn his minutes may set him aright.

Have a lot of respect for McFarland, but this is not a proper thing to say on a national network cable sports channel.

Fricking moron.

Expressing an opinion is one thing, but then claiming if your opinion doesn't pan-out, the team will quit is a large "empty thought".

booger hates les miles

Booger sees what everybody else sees. Take off the blinders. Booger hates that LSU continues to under-achieve despite having the best talent in college and is not scared to step out and say what needs to be said. He is not the only one pointing the finger in the right direction, he was just the one that said it today.

Let's be honest, Les has proven that he will run out the QB that was not the most popular choice.

his opinions mean nothing

He is paid for his opinions. Your opinions mean nothing.

Booger-Advocate 06/01/16

quote:

He said he’s heard this offseason that LSU coach Les Miles had a coaching epiphany after a tumultuous 2015 season that nearly saw him fired after a three-game November losing streak, that he’s finally willing to expand the Tigers’ offensive repertoire. “But I also heard it two years ago,” McFarland said. “LSU has been so successful doing it one way. It’s human to want to go back to what’s worked. “I want to see if LSU’s evolved. Not against Wisconsin. They can line up and beat Wisconsin (in the Sept. 3 season opener). But against Auburn (Sept. 24). To me, Florida (Oct. 8) has enough talent that that’s a test. And obviously, the biggest test is that first Saturday in November.”

quote:

“LSU has got the best team they’ve had since Nick Saban left,” McFarland said. “Better than in 2011. They have more star power and more players who have potential to be good.”

Booger got drafted by Tampa Bay in 1999 so he did not play for Saban at LSU

Yes be has no choice. no one is dumb enough to trot Harris out to start the game this week. The stadium will rain down with boos not particularly at Harris but at the decision. Either way if Miles does that he should be fired at halftime.

Because he has been around football locker rooms most of his adult life.

Because he might actually know something that we don't. I mean he is paid to discuss today's SEC related football topics.

What he said he believes. He is probably right...I know that the fan base and media will all be watching to see who takes the first snaps. What will they all do if Harris is one that take them??

When is giving an honest opinion "shitting on the program".
Were you a fan when the team quit on Dinardo.
Dinardo had three HS All American Quarterbacks on the roster and had a mediocre WR coach as quarterback coach.
Dinardo had Reed, future Biletnikoff winner, sitting on the bench, and was playing a walk on QB as WR. No wonder they quit on him.
Dumb and dumber

I don't see that at all on the defensive side or special teams.

Booger is not a Les Miles lover.

He is an lsu lover.

A few remaining posters on here should be more like Booger.

He was a decent player from the DiNardo era

Yea, a first team All-American, first round NFL draft pick, and 2x Super Bowl champion is a decent player.

He hurt your feelings by saying Les Miles could be in trouble if he screws up again. Get over it pansy.

The question needs to be asked if Booger would quit on his team. If he says yes I would think far less of him.
