Yeah I don't really think booger knows what he's talking about. One thing about miles is his team's seem to fight for him no matter what. There's been times I thought they were going to quit on him like after the Tenn 2010 game and they never did

sorry hause, but they have quit on him multiple times throughout his career..think about all the times they didnt even show up to play.. Arkansas/Ole Miss/Bama... I meanIm sure they like him as a person.. Most people do, he is a great guy, but you can tell very easily they are tired of running a shite offense... if they just opened it up and have more fun shite would get better... This is on Les, its him.. plain and simple..

Booger is giving his OPINION, just like all of us.

Good lord, if we limited posts on the Rant only to verified facts, this place would dry up.

I was responding to a poster who said McFarland had some kind of inside info.

I don't believe he does.... And that's like, my opinion, man.

Yeah, Booger has absolutely no inside track to info about LSU. Don't be so f'n dense! And quit taking everything so f'n literal.

He never said that he spoke to the entire team and that the majority said that would quit. He was speaking as an analyst and former player of this university. I'm sure he is pretty up-to-speed happening all things LSU.

Again, I was responding to a particular post.

I don't know why you are so upset, especially since you don't believe he had "inside info" to back up what he said. Apparently, we agree.

so if someone disagrees with you, you want him to shut up?

Good luck with that attitude out in the real world.

Booger should take it like a man, he knew what he was getting into when he signed up to be a talking head

this. and there is no reason for les to announce a starter.
I hear this a lot, but you are forcing everyone on the team to lie for the whole week even though everyone supposedly already knows the starter. They will probably be asked the same question dozens of times. That has to be distracting.

What is the good reason for NOT announcing it? Do you really think that teams will prepare for Harris? He doesn't do anything special that you would need to prepare for. Teams already know how to contain a mobile QB and emphasize a run defense.

Lol

Your opinion on all matters concerning LSU football is now useless. Duly noted.

On the road, he'd probably start BH.

Only way that happens is if Etling is ineffective in the Moo State game. If Etling is effective he will start at Auburn, but I can assume it will be a situation that is watched carefully. You can bet that Moo St and Auburn will try and put a lot of pressure on him to try and rattle him so we will find out on Saturday if he can handle it.

booger hates les miles.
he needs to shut up.
his opinions mean nothing.
do you think i dont support my old high school because coach is retired? that is stupid.
he is in a position to be a someone who can represent the university with class, like Shaq and Patrick Peterson. Not the opposite.

Booger is absolutely 100% correct, imo.

Come on man, you're smarter than this. For the team to quit on him, he has to play Harris over Etling despite the majority of the team wanting Etling to start. If it is that obvious to the team, it is obvious to the staff and Etling will be the starter and this won't be an issue.
First off, I'm probably not smarter than this. Now that that's out of the way....

I've alluded to it in other threads... I'd heard it relayed that some of the offense, and in particular the OL, already had no faith in Harris turning the corner this year. This was in August. There was already waning confidence, at best, in BH. Hell, Les even said it himself that BH improved in the offseason but continues to fail at translating it to the field. The offense has felt this way. Why do you think there was so much excitement on the sideline when Etling went in? They don't hate BH; in fact, BH is very likable. It's about execution. It's about giving the team a fighting chance. The team isn't stupid. I'd fully expect them to lose heart if Les stays with BH.

People forget this a lot. It's pretty similar to Aikman calling Cowboy games. He isn't just coming up with this info on his own. He has knowledge from the players.

Both Booger and Faulk chose to come to LSU to play for LA when they had ample opportunity to go to other out of state schools.

Anyone that chose to come to a down program to play for "the home team", started as a true freshman, in the LSU sports hall of fame, and was an all american for LSU has ample reason to voice his opinion on LSU, good or bad.

And yes, he and Faulk made that decision together. It was not coincidence or happenstance.
