That is huuuge! Starkey is a dynamic recruiter and cerebral coach. Big loss when he left and wwnt to A&M

Strange that this one guy is the only one with any mention of this. Not a single other media outlet or LSU source has reported this. Until then, call me skeptical.

Coach Mulkey announced it at the banquet and a message was read from Coach Starkey to the attendees. That’s seems pretty solid

Not dynamic and cerebral enough for Coach Antonio. He went to A&M because he wasn't retained by Antonio; (Fargas) the one coach that she should have kept on the Staff.

It's great to have him back at LSU with Kim.

I predict that the Lordess of the Rings will win receive her first Ring this upcoming season, (SEC Championship) with a Natty coming in the near future..........

Victor Howell was the MC of the banquet and he made a fbook post about it as well. Pretty much confirms it for me but waiting to hear back from coach to be sure.

Confirmed on Jordy’s show via Kim. It’s a done deal. She also said she has someone else lined up for the end of summer.

End of summer?? Maybe Seimone, the WNBA season will be almost over then. She is a assistant coach with the Sparks at the moment.

Its obvious this hire is about X's and O's and not recruiting. He will probably fix the defense, he is considered by many a great X's and O's coach. Can't remember a team where the defense wasn't very strong under him (at LSU, A&M or Auburn).

Fun fact, LSU was ranked #339 out of 348 D1 teams in three point defense.

She either said by summer or end of summer I would have to go back and listen to it again. She said it’s already pretty much lined up. My thought is it would be a younger coach who can recruit. Maybe she will groom someone to take over when she retires.

Looks like he's the only one to get the story as well.
