I went to LSU from 2001-2006, and attended the vast majority of games and would stay the entire time. The stadium was always loud and rocking, because football was fun.
Not exactly true. People have left early for years.

Yes they have. But not as bad as it has been the last few years. It was the same crap all over again and to be fair. LSU fans are the most spoiled in the country...... And it's not even close......

Blame Les Miles for the current atmosphere in Tiger Stadium
Nah, it's more on saban and espn. Before LSU started winning under saban the majority of the fans were there because they loved LSU and wanted to pass a good time with the family. Once we started winning and espn started hyping Tiger stadium as the place to be on a Saturday night, that was the beginning of what we see today.
Rant [on] off
The winning brought out the punk arse little bitches that latched on to LSU because it gave them they something they didn't have in their life. Something that they could run their mouths and thump their chest about (We're an 800 pound gorilla with a chainsaw for a penis, baws!!!) Well, when we stopped winning against the teams whose fans they ran their mouths and thumped their chest at. Those fans started giving them shite back, and it hurt their precious little punk arse bitch feelings, and because they too stupid to understand the part that they played in why they feel the way they do, they blame everyone but the person responsible, themselves. All they do at the game now is whine and cry, fricking up the game experience for everyone.
The espn hype about how Tiger stadium was the bestest most coolest place to be. That brought out the most useless humans ever to live on planet earth, the self centered hipster. The only reason they go to the game is to see certain people (look at us, we're at Tiger stadium, we cool, uh huh) to be seen by certain people (look at me, look at me. I'm cool too, let me join your clique, please please please) and to post shite on social media to make their sycophants jealous (you're at the game that's so cool) once that's accomplished they leave, because that's all they care about, themselves. They are too self centered and stupid to understand their role in destroying the gameday experience at LSU.

Not many times.... And not A MASS exit like we have seen with the last few years of Miles tenure......

Yeah they did, during blowouts they left. Or if LSU was losing they left. They didn't leave during tight games but a lot has changed since then.
Some of it may be the team on the field but most of it is probably because there is more to do. Plus the games are boring, almost 4 hours thanks to commercial breaks. More standing around doing nothing, lasting past 10pm, people with kids go home earlier because of that.

Did you leave that one early too?
I already said I stayed for the entire game. I never left early in all the games I've attended, but don't fault those that do. I don't know their situations.

Zombie, i thing you are right on target. There are other reasons as others have mentioned but I believe the number 1 reason was as you posited, Les Miles simply sucking the life out of LSU football. And before I receive the attacks I have had season tickets since 1972 so I am well aware of sitting thru the Mike Archer, Curley Hallman years.

I agree with ALL of this... The EXPERIENCE of going to an LSU game is not the same anymore... I have seen it for years... Do you realize how many people watch the game OUTSIDE the stadium at their tailgate??? Its mindboggling.. AND a lot of people will leave the stadium at half and watch the rest of the game at the Motor Home... It doesn't mean they are bad fans.................

Archer 27-18-1
Hallman 16-28
Miles 114-34
Yup, three worst coaches in the History of the program right there

Posts like yours are why people outside of Baton Rouge think we are a bunch of retards

You just don't get it.... Since 1/9/12... Miles has coached scared and the teams have showed it... 2013 was his best team since then and he found a way to screw that up too..... Get a life.....

Oh B.S., this is just a croc.
It boils down to if you are a true fan or not...period. All started with the TAF taking the prime seats and giving them to the more privileged socialites in Baton Rouge. Now the lower bowl sidelines is a place to be seen after tailgating and rest stop before the after party, or a place to entertain your spoiled toddler. No matter who the coach, Mac, Stovall, Hallman, Dinardo, Arnsparger, Archer, Saban or Miles...we stayed to the end. Believe me, there were far more ugly stretches than you had with Les. You people blaming Miles just don't want to admit you are privileged and spoiled and looking for an excuse. Try the mirror!!

Eat a dick you fricking cry baby. I'm not defending Miles. It was time for him to go. I just think its fricking asinine to mention the guy in the same breath as Mike Archer and Curley fricking Hallman. Seriously?
AM I disappointed in the Team's performance since 1/9? Absolutely. But even those years, the worst of Miles' tenure, were far and away better than what those two losers had to offer. There was nothing wrong with wanting Les gone. There is nothing wrong with being glad he's gone. But you are fricking retarded if you want to put the guy on par with Hallman and Archer. That's just stupid and it's why the national media thinks we're a bunch of cousin fricking idiots.

If you listen to the average LSU fan Alabama hasn't lost in twelve years and just gave up putting a punter on the roster.
How many fans remember the 2002 season? We were suppose to be in the National Championship discussion that year.. Well we were, preseason, but I think we opened up against VT that year and lost.. We went on to lose. I think 4 or 5 games.. It would have been one more if it wasn't for the Bluegrass miracle.

And like any team that wins, the fan base expands and since LSU won the championship in 2003 and 2007.. All of a sudden you have all the "life long" fans coming out the woodwork.. They jump on the wagon, they establish themself as "die hard LSU fans" but the second LSU losses they are the ones bitching and complaining.. So you have a lot of that as well.

Wrong, what we're witnessing is the death of the bandwagon LSU fan. And I for one, am all too happy to see them go.
Posted on 10/17/16 at 7:19 pm to geauxbrown
So if the bandwagon fans leave, the ones who can afford the expensive seats, who takes their spot?
