Yep I saw that. Thought it was weird.

I think Jones never properly established the Simmons/TQ dynamic.

This is why college basketball is becoming less relevant by the day.
NCAA basketball is a huge revenue sport. The highest paid basketball coach gets paid more then the highest paid football coach.

Don't kid yourself that NCAA basketball isn't relevant.

Blakeney is on point. Would love to have him back next year, him and Victor would be a great inside- outside combo. Sounds like this kid should be the leader of this team.

That plus we have a coach with. .500 winning percentage. JJ needs to be fired but "Sucklleva"..doesn't have the guts to fire Nikki or him

Everyone wants to point the finger at the coach at I totally get that, but at some point the players have to take some responsibility. This team doesn't have a natural leader that will drag the team and put them on his back.

There is zero chance he was talking about Ben. They're extremely close and Ben had his 22nd double double and 7 steals

Then what leader was he talking about that keeps running his mouth? Ben is the floor leader.

Quarterman.

Ben and Blakeney are very close

I've yet to see Simmons pass up an open shooter. I've seen Quarterman do it, and Blakeney shaking his head in disgust after.

Really hope he is wearing purple and gold next year.

You are hoping he doesn't transfer? That's the only way he won't be here unless his grades are failing and he plays overseas. He is not ready for the NBA period and no way will get drafted this year.

Nobody refers to TQ as a leader.

I agree with tone, also hope he doesn't leave. This team is hard to get behind because they just do not like playing with each other. We will probably never know what happened but after the A&M home game or the bama game shite hit the fan and this team hasn't looked interested at all.

I agree. Good for him. No leader on floor or bench
