You are very smart and also correct. Halftime will mark the halfway point of the game. Therefore half of the experience will have expired. Everyone on here says you aren't too smart. But you are on your way to proving all of them wrong

Was just stating the obvious

They keep mentioning “sell outs”, but it is clear on TV, asses are not in the seats.

If we win this weekend, I would hope that it is a true packed sell out game! If not, then Scott has to drastically overhaul the game day experience.

The Ole Miss folks I work with and live around have all bought tickets from LSU season ticket holders.

Don't act surprised when the stadium is 1/2 red and blue.

Maybe their fans will stay until the 4th quarter.

Part of the issue with a team consistently underperforming for two straight season and that loss to Florida State. Live 20 mins away from Fayetteville, it annoys me they consistently sell out the top 3 sports, while we struggle.

Hope and upward trends do wonders!

I would blame the people that leave at halftime in a close game against a big time opponent as opposed to the person that points it out.
You say as you reach your car at the 12:55 mark of the 3rd Quarter and congratulate yourself for making it 4 minutes faster in game time than last year.

Same stupid arse posters said people would leave the MSU game at halftime. WRONG.

Same stupid arse posters said people would leave Tennessee Game by halftime. WRONG. Our fans started leaving after getting down ANOTHER score in the 3rd.

Some MFers just like to post contrarian but popular bullshite to see the upvotes. They don't even go to the fricking games but get mad b/c OTHER people don't fill up Tiger Stadium.

We'll be in 414 Saturday. Trying to get tickets near us for my youngest two. We made the trip to Gainesville last week and want to continue the good luck streak.

If they aren’t filled after halftime by the end of the third quarter then they should let people from further up come and fill them. Just sayin bring the crowd closer.

people don't pay big $$$$ for those seats to sit next to poors

BK is downplaying but there’s a lot on the line here.
We can beat Ole Miss. But will we? 75 hours will tell. If we do though, the Bama game becomes a big one.
I don’t like our chances though but nothing is impossible. The West is still in play.

The Swamp announced 90k fans in attendance Saturday and it wasn't nearly full.

People think this problem is an LSU problem. Damned near every big stadium/program not in the top 10 has this problem getting fans in the seats and keeping them there.

Ole Miss didn't come close to selling their 6k visitor allotment so there's no way this happens.

Don’t know when they pan over a lot.. all I can tell you is from our experience on east sidelines. It’s usually pretty packed around me.. took us almost 30 mins to get up the line to concession stand only to tell us they ran out of food. A lot of people in the tunnels as well, lsu has to hire a better vendor.

I’m not saying it’s all, but it doesn’t help

What game was there an exodus of fans leaving at halftime of a close game?

Every game there is always a good chunk of people that leave at halftime. The stands are always more thinned out after the half and especially after the third quarter.

A bunch of people in my section left at halftime of the LSU vs Mississippi State game this year.
