Boy they really showed us. Spend 2k on a billboard raise $151 for the red cross

As soon as the campaign is clear to withdraw I will withdraw $2,050 to pay Lamar and the billboard will go live Sunday 10/28 through Saturday 11/3(the day of the game). I will be posting a picture of the ad as soon as Lamar sends it to me.

I am in with cookies, balloons...anything to keep the message in front of them that we know they were in on it.

My dad just called me about the billboards. He lives in Nashville and is married to a Bama grad. He can’t stop laughing.

Gumps are not laughing. Just from gleaning the radio, news articles, and message boards, they really do not like the attention being put on SEC HQ.

He didn’t even know I was in this thread while it was planned or that it came from a message board collaboration. He just called to ask if I heard about it. Said it made his day and it was even better when I explained how quickly it happened.

My dad’s not a Gump. He’s a Tiger fan who fell in love with a wonderful woman who went to the wrong school. He will have fun with this for the next couple weeks. Waiting on a call from her

I wish there was a way you could ask a question like the 2003 bill board.
Like Conference USA has an appeal process, why not the SEC? #FreeDevinWhite

Like somebody said earlier, roll tide is somewhat inappropriate for a billboard raising money for hurricane recovery.

SEC, can we APPEAL to your better judgement?
Or something like that?

This was not intended to be any criticism of Smalls and Krewe

That’s what’s so bizarre about all of this. The billboards are in Birmingham because that is where the SEC offices are located. Had the offices been located in Atlanta or Nashville, the billboards would have been staged there. This was not a shot at the Gumps but they certainly take it that way, lol.
On a side note: they have thoroughly accepted the term Gumps. They don’t even bat an eye anymore, lol.

CBS sports just dropped some haymakers on the Alabama bias! I’ll try to put the twitter link in here.

Someone needs to email this CBS debate link to everyone at the SEC HQ
