He would probably follow Aranda to UNLV.

Muddbone referenced Raymond taking over.
I just can’t see O making that happen unless there is a Co-Def coordinator with him.

Am I the only one not excited about Raymond as DC?

Only person I’d be excited with is Grantham

Anyone know what aranda's bowl bonus is? Unlv isn't going anywhere for football. No reason they can't wait until bowls are over. Lol.
Still don't believe he is going to unlv. DC at LSU isn't better than HC at UNLV? What opens up if he shuts down hurts, fields, the lost Hanson?

The issue with saying no to Raymond is he most assuredly leaves for another D coordinator job.
Hell there was smoke with him going to UGA last year as co- d coordinator.
Losing BOTH Aranda and Raymond would be a horrible offseason lol.

UNLV won't pay a DC $1.5-$2.5 M per season for a DC. LSU has and will pay that.

Nothing. Jobs are filling up now. No program is waiting on him until January.

If he does not,get the DC job maybe

Raymond can’t even get a raise here, I don’t think they think he is the next DC

I'm sorry but, I cant see him leaving until this season is over, I can understand a normal bowl game, but we finally make the playoffs and he's gonna bolt? No Way IMO

Got to make Venables say no. Offer him $3mil -$3.25 base plus incentives. Clemson pays $2mil plus incentives.
LSU is set up to pay the highest salaries in the country for coordinators.

Knowing the type of guy Aranda is, he wouldn't leave until after the playoffs. I would hope he'd be all in here though.

Good God, man...

Nope, I’ll rather it be Raymond before anybody else! He’s earned it

Venables is at Clemson, in the ACC, and in the Semifinals every year. Why would he be stupid enough to leave?

Which it total bs because he has done an amazing job...I've wonder why for a few years now when others around him have received raises.
