Bama and it's not even close. When Chase caught that Touchdown, it was explicit, explicit, explicit we about to whoop some arse today!

When I saw Chase go up and punk out Bama’s best CB for an easy TD, I knew we were winning that game.

I was a bit nervous after the first few drives of the NCG but I knew how good this offense was and that they would eventually get it together.

At the time of the bama game I knew it was a great offense but there were so many years of “LSU is good, but how will they look against Bama” and I legitimately felt that the monkey on our backs actually played into how we performed. Gotta go with Bama for me.

Bama. I was at both games. I thought we had about a 60% chance of winning that Bama game. There was never a moment, not 7-0 not 17-7, that I wasn’t 80% sure we were beating Clemson.

The CEH runs against Bama including the first play of the game where he juked their star safety was more an indication this team wasn’t getting stuffed at the line of scrimmage.

The first Clemson TD was bigger than the Alabama TD.

I 100% agree with this. In the Bama game it was the first drive and happened so easy it was like “oh another TD”. In the NC game due to field position and not understanding the Clemson defense scheme we stunk it up the first couple drives. After that TD it was like “ it’s on now “

The 3 drives prior to the TD we had a total of 17 yards of offense. I was definitely feeling squirmy.

Oh believe me we all were. I was in the student section.. and those first 3 drives and going down 17.... many of the students were very down. I got the ticket from a friend and I'm like 5 years removed from college.

I was yelling at everyone around me at 17-7 when everyone's head was down that it was going to be alright... I was in school and at the game in 2011. I know what it felt like to choke and not play well. I knew for a FACT that this game was different and this team was DIFFERENT. I told every single person in our section in the endzone that we were FINE. Literally every other person looked like they were at a funeral. I hyped our section back up... and the rest is history. arse kicking commence.

And I'm not saying this to hype myself up. I just knew it wasn't the same as 2011. We were getting pinned deep and had a slow start. But there was no college team in the world that was going to stop the 2019 LSU Tigers all night. We were right next to the regular LSU fan section in the middle endzone. And this old man that was about 60 fricking high fived the shite out of me after I told everyone we were fine For the rest of the game he was coming across the aisle to celebrate every time we scored

There are 2 greater sigh of reliefs in the regular season:

3rd and 17
Tua dropping the ball

Tua's fumble indicated things were going to be different, those bastards never fumble. Then, Burrow and Chase abused their secondary.

Bama. I didn’t know if Saban was going to be able to work some magic to stop the Burrow pain train. So once we started scoring I knew we would be okay. For Clemson, I was a little anxious that first quarter. But by that game we knew there was no way Clemson was going to stop Burrow. Even when we were down 17-7 I was not worried. So, Bama.

It was Bama for me. When we were winning at halftime, I got a call from my brother, two different people I work with and my grandmother. They were all pumped that we were winning. When we did win, my wife was crying and I was jumping through the ceiling.
The bama win was more of a joyous time than the NC.

Oh, and by the way, frick Clemson

And Auburn.

One more thing, frick those broke back bitch motherfrickers from Aggie land too.

That’s all.

This entire thread gives me WOOD. We are debating which kick-arse play from our bad-arse, immensely talented, National Championship winning WR is better.

00:00 on the clock v. Auburn. Our worst game far, but we got the "W".

It was the only game all year that made me nervous.
