Fair weather Rantard! If you are too busy to spend 4 hours in the greatest place on earth, sell your tickets to a true fan who's loyal through thick and thin.

This thread is a prime example of ignorance.

most of the thread is about games in the 2000's. a lot is about miles vs saban. imagine that! the only thing anyone in support of not liking miles can see is the present.

the title of the thread is embarrasment for an lsu fan.

I can think of many things a lot more embarrassing for an lsu fan than any game over the last 10 years.

It was very embarrassing to be a fan under the joe dean tenure. Not one improvement to any of the athletic buildings or their grounds. as a fan it was embarrassing to see the program you support have the worst maintained grounds, facilities, and low rent coaches running most of your programs.

The shutting down of 1/2 the bathrooms in tiger stadium. the broken window's on tiger stadium. the roof deteroiorating on the p mack. the hiring and keeping john brady. the hiring of curley hallman and gerry dinardo. (not because of their failure, because the program had to go to vandy and southern miss to find a coach. the reason, didn't want to spend money. wanted a champagne coach on a beer salary).

if you want embarrasing games, one brain fart to lose a game doesn't even compare to a game you can't even compete in. getting destroyed by ole miss, miss st., au, florida, bama, a & m ect. you're center hiking the football over the punters head, field goal kickers head, kids purposely fumbling forward out of bounds to gain a yard, looking like college football follies, having to leave at the 1/2 because your team is down by 30 pts or more to the rebs or bulldogs, tubby and spurrier faking fg's, punts, going on fourth down and scoring t.d.'s then laughing at your team. that's embarassing games. these all happened under stoval, archer, hallman, and dinardo. anything les miles has done to this point can't even compare.

It's not my fault the Stadium Club stops selling alcohol at the end of the 3rd quarter

I get your point, and I'm not trying to bash Miles, but I was born the year of the first championship, and I have never been more embarassed than last year at Ole Miss. After a LONG Saturday night there I went home and saw us humiliated on every major network, website, and magazine for the rest of the year. I've lived through some good and bad times with the Tigers, but that was w/o a doubt the single most embarassing for me.

WTF? How can LSU have no chance of winning nor losing the game? Does this mean a guaranteed tie?

Losing to Miami of Ohio when you're ranked 5th in the nation.

You guys are soooo lame:

Getting beat up by Bobby Knight and shoved into trash can after the 1981 Final Four.

How could anything be more embarrassing than that?

1981 Tulane loss (48-7)at New Orleans. The only time I've ever been embarassed as a Tiger fan.

You are all looking in the wrong direction. The biggest embarrasment for LSU fans are LSU fans!

LINK

This was a true national embarrasment.

Nothing ever done by any team matches this shite and the fans did it!

Game is tied with UAB near the end of regulation. You could hear a pin drop in the South Endzone except for 1 guy yelling "LSU,LSU,LSU". To bad Josh plays for the name on the back of his jersey instead of the side of his helmet. Maybe if that guy had been yelling "BOOTY,BOOTY,BOOTY" then the UAB game wouldn't have been a loss.

Agreed that it wasn't good, but frankly they were lucky to even be in that position.

i do not support this kind of behavior... but the scumbag Fat Phil had it coming. During the Katrina/Rita aftermath, he publicly complained that LSU was using the hurricane as an excuse to gain a competitive advantage. He claimed that since LSU wouldn't provide them a hotel(which none were available due to the largest US natural disaster in a century) and would be forced to fly in the day they played, that they would be dehydrated, etc.
