I witnessed both games in person, btw...

Kelley Washington (3rd string WR for the Vols behind Stallworth and Parker) 256 yard, 11 reception game at Neyland in 2001

Shaun Alexander (Backup RB for Alabama) 296 Rushing yards in Tiger Stadium 1996

What say you Tiger fans?

The LSU game MADE that guy. More specifically, Lou Tepper MADE that guy.

This hurt more. That was a huge game for LSU that started off well and went downhill fast.

This might have been more embarrassing simply because we didn't seem to want to line anybody opposite Washington DESPITE the fact he was torching us. I was at both games as well and even my UGA buddy with me was annoyed by LSU not lining up against Washington, and he didn't have a "dog" in the hunt.

We repaid the favors with the 2001 Bama game and 2001 SECCG.

I think the UAB loss is far more embarrassing then any SEC loss.

You're bashing Miles for being happy/proud of the team for being up 21-0 on a top 10 team (at the time) at halftime?

Jesus...

How anyone could puck anything other than the UAB loss is ridiculous to me. We lost to fricking University of Alabama at Birmingham!

you can be happy all you want, but there was an entire half still to be played.

we came out and scored 3 points in the second half. so yea, i'm bashing him for prematurely celebrating.

You can twist it however you want, but I doubt he ran into the locker room and popped the champagne.

The team was out of gas and had to play a soft D. It had nothing to do with a premature celebration.

i don't think any stats shaun alexander puts up against a team should be considered embarrassing. doesn't matter if he was a backup or not.. he has lead the NFL in rushing before..
