As humiliating as any game in the last 30 years, unless you have your head so far up Miles' arse and can't admit it. There have been big upsets, but none exposed the face of LSU's program as bad as that game.

There have been many more embarrassing moments....like allowing a non-BCS team thats been around a total of nine years to come into Death Valley on a Saturday night and walk out with a win....unless your hatred for Miles is so blinding you cant see past 2008, except for maybe 2003.

My biggest embarrasment is all the people that call themselves LSU Fans but do nothing but belittle the program on this website.

Makes me ashamed to be a fan......

Your HC at a supposed SEC power personally losing a game b/c of a brain malfunction on nat'l TV is more embarrassing than a mediocre team coming off a losing season being upset.

2005 Tennessee-

Going into the locker room at halftime. "Where's my wife?"....WTF?

Honorable mention

2005 AZ State- The coach don's the "Madonna Headset"

2009 Ole Miss- "clock it. Clock it".

2004 UGA- The X-Man takes a knee at the 1 yard line after receiving the kickoff. Definitely an all time WTF moment.

you can be happy all you want, but there was an entire half still to be played.

we came out and scored 3 points in the second half. so yea, i'm bashing him for prematurely celebrating.

That's pretty a pretty lame criticism, IMO.

1. The Jamie Howard/Lynn Amadee debacle at Auburn.

2. Ole Miss last year (and I am not a Miles basher).

I don't think any thing else is even all that close. UAB and Miami Ohio were bad. I wasn't all that fired up about the showing in '02 VT.

Proudest moments:

1. '79 USC. All you could say at the end was WOW.

2. '97 UF. I thought that meant that the wandering in the wilderness was over.

2002 Bama was BAD For some reason, that game rarely gets brought up. I don't know that it was the most embarassing, but I don't remember ever being angrier.

2005 Tenn was awful

While this game was dissapointing, I would not call it embarrassing. This was a Monday night game, the 2nd game (scheduled 3rd) of a season that had been disrupted by 2 devestating hurricanes.
This team went on to play 11 straight weeks without a break, against one of the toughest schedules LSU has ever faced, all with a new Head coach and a new D. Cooridinator, neither of which had ever worked together before, or with with the O. Coord.
They lost just 2 games, both to top 10 teams (one to a Georgia team who had revenge on their minds for the arse whuppins LSU had put on them the previous seasons), had to go out west for a scheduled home game, they won 2 OT games, and still went on to destroy the Miami Hurricanes in Atlanta.
This is the gutsiest team LSU has ever felded, bar none (including NC championship teams), and to belittle this team, or it's coach for anything done during that season is ASSANINE.

I remember that one. Between poor officiating and the two quarter back system----one had to wonder what was our beloved cholly thinking.

I really enjoyed the 1984 one with Bill Arnsparger LSU 23 USC 3

Left the game right after that, I said to my self, "well that about sums up the whole game right there..."
