01 Florida was pretty bad. Rex Grossman goes off for almost 500 yards passing and four touchdowns and then Brock Berlin comes in and adds his own td
this was my worst...it got to a point where every time Florida would kick an extra point, the fans would throw the ball out of the stadium. classy i know, hence the creation of the allstate net.

Tulane 1982
This is the only correct answer.
Tulane had won the previous year 48-7 (yes, 48-7)and everyone was looking forward to handing Tulane some of that crow right back. LSU had just thrashed Florida State and Tulane was having a really bad season. The buzz around town was whether LSU would win by 40 or not.

Could have been 2008 against TROY if they wouldn't have come back from 38-3 half-time defecit.

Does 2000 count as the last ten years because UAB is a hell of alot worse. They had a football team a total of nine years at the time. I would have to say UK in '07 and Iowa in '04 were pretty bad too (last ten years).
Miami of Ohio was definitely one of, if not the, worst of all though.
Let's not forget Miami of Ohio has been playing college football over 100 years and had beat the likes of Purdue, So. Carolina, No. Carolina, Indiana, and Kentucky not all that long before taking us out..
UAB's 1st year of college football was 91 at the NCAA Division III level and they hadn't beaten anyone in a major conference ever.

Last night I was wearing my lsu shirt watching lost. The ending was so obvious

The biggest embarassment in LSU game history has to be in football versus Tenessee in 2005. That was turrible.

Tulane game 1982,1981,1979 and 1973 UAB, or colorado state... pick one.. any one..

Considering the circumstances surrounding this game...i give them a pass on "the most embarrassing". UK in '07 was worse....but neither come close to UAB or Miami(Ohio)

Or maybe Arkansas in 2007.

completely forgot about this one.
Booty threw it right in the hands of the UAB corner when he called an impromtu audible

That was a coaching letdown, I'm talking more about a player that unexpectedly performed at an incredible level.

quote:It's not embarrassing when your $4m/yr HC makes an idiot of himself on nat'l TV and has a monumental mental breakdown directly costing LSU a game? As humiliating as any game in the last 30 years, unless you have your head so far up Miles' arse and can't admit it. There have been big upsets, but none exposed the face of LSU's program as bad as that game.
end of Ole Miss '09 and it's not close
how old are you...8?

I was at the LSU-Tulane game in 1982......but being an LSU alum living in South Florida.....
I have to say losing to Florida 58-3 in 1993, followed by losing to Miami 44-3 in 1988.

Most of you cry and complain about one game.
This shite made people not even interested in an Ole Miss game. A bunch of what if's around here that were even not born yet or toddlers.
It sucked. Hell a Independence Bowl was the promised land.

2007 Arkansas, 2009 Ole Miss, but one I just remembered that I'm sure no one put up
1999 Houston.
LSU was 2-7. The year before they went 4-7. There had to be some salvation. Come on just beat the damn Houston Cougars.
LSU lost 20-7 in Tiger Stadium. I remember my Dad, "we can't even beat Houston!"
Close calls: 2008 Troy, 2009 Louisiana Tech
