13 of their 14 institutions have students on campus for classes. That’s thousands of kids, who also often leave campus, and come from all parts of the world. They could easily have corona as they step on campus, and transmit it all across the entire city. And who’s to say it stops at the city? People leave cities all the time! But football is where they draw the line because they want room and board money. Give me a break. I hope all those institutions go bankrupt and the Big 10 is dissolved

Sorry to burst your bubble, but if they're doing this then everyone else is about to follow. There's been some stuff from some anonymous P5 ADs the last few days saying a fall season wasn't going to happen, and not just a "I don't think we should", but a "leagues are talking and it's basically agreed on".

Gotta feel bad for Ohio State. They were at least going to the playoffs again playing against nobody in the Big Ten. They were going to be loaded but some of those guys have played their last down as a Buckeye. Including Justin Fields. Ohio State and Clemson had the most to lose if the season was canceled. Poor guys. /End sarcasm
The SEC will probably cancel and for LSU it basically just comes down to one less season of Stingley Jr and Chase. LSU will be able to wear the crown for another year. They get to recruit as champions for another year.

The Netherlands has never required masks and has the same COVID rate as surrounding countries. Sweden never did any lockdown and has done better than most of Europe. The 7 year old in Georgia that was reported as dying of COVID-19 actually had a seizure in the shower and died of a head injury with no reported COVID-19 symptoms until his posthumous positive test.

SEC/ACC should play on and have a NC between conference champs. When others complain, we could just pat them on the head and explain how 13 of last 14 NC's from SEC/ACC, including last 5.
