BBATiger - Since you stated that you are 51 years old, you probably never did anything stupid at the ripe ole' age of 23 did you? To call Big Baby a fricking idiot is harsh. The dude made a mistake in judgement and you/I don't even have the whole story yet and you still call the young man a fricking idiot? The idiot is a millionaire. How is your bank stacked? Didn't think so. He's a genius in my book who has overcome adversity many times in his life and I'm sure he will overcome this incident also. Leave the KID alone GRANPA. He made a mistake and I'm sure we'll know more about it from the press later.

Rap, using your logic, what if someone has a temporary lap in judgement and kills someone. Are they not an idiot. I think so. Part of our problem as a society is we don't hold people accountable.

I'm retired.

He has a responsibility to his teammates and the people who just gave him a big fat raise. If you broke your hand in a fight and couldn't dig ditches for a month, I'm pretty sure your boss would be pissed at you.

He didn't kill anyone. We don't even know the facts in this case. The ADVOCTE hasn't said anything about it. All we have is some dude posting this story and Danny Ainge saying he's probably out for a while. From what I've heard, he didn't kill anyone. I have heard that it "might" have been in self defense. How is that a lapse in judgement? Let's wait on the facts.

But carefully read the article, then you will know who it is if you have any kind of sense.

Yea, I am sure we would have guessed someone most of us didn't know even existed.

This.

If Davis is out fighting, short of defending himself he's an idiot.

Plaxico didn't kill anyone. He had the gun for self defense.

Y'all don't get it. There is absolutley NO reason Baby should put himself in any "defending himself" position. All that tells me is that he is around the wrong people.

Davis and a former LSU teammate were involved in a scrap on Sunday, the Boston Globe reported. The newspaper did not provide details. Davis will need surgery to repair his thumb.

"We'll deal with it," Grousbeck told WFXT. "I'm not going to call him 'Big Baby' anymore. He's Glen. He needs to act like Glen. We'll decide what to do once I talk to him, once we talk to him today."

I don't remember Glen Davis being mentioned in Dr. Seuss' Cat in the Hat....

What makes Glen Davis a genius? This "overcoming adversity" bullshite we're constantly bombarded with about athletes coming "out da hood" makes him smart? He may have had just enough sense not to "cap dat azz" on homey down the street and keep putting a ball through a hoop (in the meantime, probably foregoing 90% of any academic responsibility the rest of us are accountable for) in hopes it would land him where it eventually did. Such brilliance. Your mentality is a societal problem. Worshipping the athlete. Bet it wouldn't have mattered a bit if he'd killed or raped someone in the past. He wore dat purple and gold, dawg. You got his back.
