I love how our program got completely vaporized by the time O left, and every rival fan base (and Notre Dame) still insists we screwed up by hiring our coach who has immediately brought us back-to-back 10 win seasons and an SEC West title
What they don't realize is that we played K-State with a comparable team to Division II based on scholarship depth (*NOT* Division I FCS, Division II.) D2 allows for 36 scholarships, we had 39 left on the roster. A team like McNeese State has 63 players on scholarship.

…and Curly Hallman and Gerry Dinardo rule out coaches who are NOT from here. So we just can’t have head coaches anymore?
