These "others" you are talking about simply are against a playoff system altogether. But anyone who is for a playoff system who doesn't think a 4-team playoff is the way to go is just being unrealistic.

You do understand that teams from these conferences do not get penalized in their rating due to the conference they play in, don't you?

Utah was 1-0 against BCS teams with a winning record (Before bowls). Fl was something like 8-1 and OK was probably similar.

I'm done for now trying to convince people that undefeated teams should have a chance at a championship. Maybe some other poor soul will stumble upon this so you can "own" him. Have a good night.

I'm about done with this thread. I'm just saying that a four team playoff is the only realistic AND logical playoff system that could be put in place and be somewhat fair and keep all of the bowl committees happy, which matters the most.
