She's not going anywhere! Beth has something on somebody high at LSU. Maybe pics of someone with a goat or something, I don't know, but she should've been gone long ago. We need fresh blood. Same old, same old with Beth!

Send her to the portal and get a REAL number 1, the kind that when you score 7 runs twice , 9 runs, give them the lead in the 6th and the 7th they shut the door!! We need that type of number 1!! No one is talking about Chaffin, going to be an all SEC performer with a chance to be a AA, wonder why she never developed at LSU?? Hmmmm

I’ve read in a press conference or two Beth alluding to her going through a lot off the field. I’m not sure what that means.

Beth Torina is an enigma. But opinions aside she has a large buyout again, she’s not going anywhere regardless of what anyone thinks of her.

Your best hope is she hires a top pitching coach and keeps that #1 class in 2026. She has the longest leash in mankind to become an elite coach but idk maybe it finally comes together. Doubtful but you never know.

To add-she’s basically Mark Richt. The program is going to have some moments, she’s gregarious, she’s a great ambassador, but in the end the program is never a serious contender and deceptively not even close.

I gave up on following the program closely due to life (wasting time watching sports) but intuitively knowing we’re just always going to be a 42-20 regional final program with Torina and it’s just what it is.

So it seems to me the umpire was quite aware she re-entered the game?

You can set you watch to it. Season starts hot, then the first loss comes in, then a steady decline to falling apart in the post season.

The person that keeps the card is the person who goes to home plate and in the past it was Coach Howard, this year it’s Simmons. Simmons does the subs, I’m not blaming her at all it’s the HC responsibility 100%, just maybe Torina is doing too much!! Head Coach, Pitching Coach, calls the pitches, 3rd base coach, calls the offense and who knows who calls the defense.

Torina must have obviously known it was her mistake because as soon as the Arkansas coach came out of the dugout, Tonina sprinted to home plate to try and beat him to the umpire. She must have known her mistake as soon as she seen him coming out of the dugout, otherwise, why would she have done that?

My biggest worry about this team in the offseason is holding on to Edwards. She will be an All-American as a redshirt Freshman and will have teams beating down her door to leave LSU.

Torina has never had a problem with players leaving so I don’t see why that would be a problem now. Scrutiny aside she runs a program top players flock to for the lack of hardware

Not hiring a 3rd assistant has been catastrophic for Torina, its coaching malpractice. At some point Scott will cut ties, he didn’t hire her, he is paying her top 10 money and not getting top 10 results. He can hire a top assistant for much less and pay the buyout over the term of the contract, she will also get a job at some ACC low level job and mitigate some of the buyout. The time is coming.

Except they have very very few top players. The talent is significantly down from even last yr and will be worse next yr absent a flood of portal kids incoming.

The team has what, five everyday starters returning and its entire pitching staff coming back? You said this team was going to suck all off season and were completely off base

Was I though? Will have losing record in the SEC, I missed on Edwards and didn’t expect the hitting dude to have such a impact.Coffey and Redoutey leave next yr, that’s a huge part of the offense and no one on the bench to replace. Berzon was throwing batting practice and Heavener may or may not figure it out. The pitching has been horrible against the top SEC teams save Florida, it has cost them 6 games.

Still trying to figure out how he reconciles saying there's no talent and the coach is bad but somehow they've been in the top 10 all season.

39-12 and a top 10 RPI/rank does not suck and you’re honestly retarded if you think that sucks. It’s fine to criticize Torina as she has elite resources and hasn’t given us elite results in a long time, most agree. But this season has been far from a disaster

High level players want to play in the WS, that’s the goal..Edwards and Bergeron will have offers to leave. Bergeron is a Louisiana kid so highly doubt she will but Edwards who knows..

His takes are completely bi polar and inconsistent. He said all off season this team was going to be garbage and they’re objectively not.

He’s partially right about Torina in that the results the past 8 years have been unacceptable but this has been her best season in awhile. The team is returning a lot next season and she has far and away the #1 class for 2026.
