I actually think this could get really interesting. Baker clearly knows what he’s walking into, and you know both sides are going to have this one circled

Sloan may be familiar with the LSU defense but it's nearly a whole new personnel group to prepare for. Stein will not be familiar with LSU concepts aside from film study, although he is a really good offensive mind. Baker gets the lean here.

Kiffin and Weis will have a great game plan. They are very familiar with Bateman, and Kentucky just doesn't have many studs on defense that can disrupt the flow. Heavy lean to the LSU offense.

With that said, road games in the SEC are rarely cakewalks. You have to execute and make plays.

Fan fiction. He thinks Baker showed up to work ready to fight the OC because his unit sucked.

Baker is not stupid…. He knows Sloan is a puppet. Klein runs the show.
First off, It's Will Stein. Secondly, why would a first year headcoach just hire a "puppet" As you say? How does that benefit him? Lastly, I don't think Sloan is nearly as bad as we think. Our headcoach had his head shoved so far up his own arse, it's difficult to know how much of the blame should be placed at Sloan's feet for that offense.

Agree with this. Sloan and Stein will throw the kitchen sink at the LSU defense. They won't just play hat on hat, scheme against scheme, or however you want to phrase it. We will see things that haven't been put on film yet even if they don't look exotic in real time. Disguised personnel groups, different blocking schemes and protections, etc.

They’re great friends.

I know they rode in Endymion together last year. A few floats behind us.
