I always make a day of it and never try to get to the stadium last minute but my son has a football game saturday and I am the coach. So we are going to book it from the game and get dropped off. Does anyone have anyone advice on the quickest access to the stadium?

My plan is to leave the YMCA on perkins and take it to Staring, take a right on burbank and get dropped off at walk-ons area. I figured its two lanes with minimal stop lights.....we usually come in by the lakes and head toward the AG center. I fear that will be a cluster around 130. any advice is appreciated

You're better off getting dropped off at Staring and Burbank and walking the rest of the way. Should be a lot faster. It's going to be an absolute nightmare getting to campus tomorrow.

Option: Go to Stanford. Turn right on S.Stafium and you will be able to make it to Highland infront of Parker Coll. Who ever is dropping you will have to take a right or left from there because it is pay parking beyond that. That is a straight shot down the hill to the stadium

thats what we always do. I guess that may be our best shot as it always has been. I was concerned that stanford may be a cluster.

Tomorrow is Friday. Game day eve. Traffic is a nightmare on any regular Friday. Tomorrow should be really bad traffic.

Oh, nothing out of the ordinary. It's just always a traffic nightmare driving around campus on a Friday afternoon when school is in session. It's going to be nothing compared to absolute cluster&%k that will be Saturday's game day traffic, however.

I10W to Louise exit. Go up highland to Aster or Roosevelt and walk up through the neighborhood. Your driver will have the easiest way back away from campus too. Back to Louise and hit the interstate. Shouldn’t be much traffic on the interstate at that point

Honestly think this might be the right move

but this my go to:

Do this! I usually walk to the game down Stanford, but sometimes my wife, if she isn't going to the game, will drop us off. This plan works well. She has never had too much trouble getting us there and then getting back home.

I would get dropped as far down Burbank as I could make it while still having time to walk to the stadium. At a certain point, it will be quicker to just walk than sit in traffic. The person dropping you off can make a U on burbank or turn left on e boyd.

Lol thanks for all the responses but now I'm more confused than ever. I was hoping there would be a consensus or at least one route that was clear and above the best

I guess it looks like Stanford to South Stadium maybe the best.

I had to change plans also Saturday. Have a funeral and I’m coming in hot. Hopefully I’m so late there will be no traffic. I should be parking right at 2:30. I’m hoping for the best but expecting the worse

I used to live on Burbank near the Sonic closest to LSU.

It was bumper to bumper clusterfuk hours before kickoff.
