Ummmm... Dorsey won just about every award a DT can win. Lavalais was also great, but Dorsey was better.

You think that Dorsey at his peak was a more dominant DT than Lavalais?

And while I don't think Hester is our best player, he did lead LSU in rushing for two straight seasons. Since the 1980s, only three LSU players have done that: Hester (2006-2007), Toe (2000-2001) and Faulk (1995-1998... yeah, that's four years).

By default. Hester was a great player, but he got a lot of carries those two years that should have gone to other backs.

I was leaning between Shaq and Peyton Manning, but eventually decided on Lance Armstrong.

Sorry, but that's just dumb. JR is clearly an option and a damn fine one. But excellent arguments could also be made for Reed, Dorsey and Landry. My vote would go to Reed.

A guy that didn't even average 5ypc over a guy who had by far the most impressive season for a QB at LSU this decade? JR was the BEST QB in college football in 2006. What was Hester?

The answer is Jamarcus Russell regardless if fans want to admit it or not.

I have 3 LSU QB's available for a must win, Jamarcus, Mauck and Flynn. Jamarcus is my 3rd choice.

#1 Reed (and it's not even close)
#2 Russell
#3a Lavalais
#3b Dorsey

Lavalais over Dorsey.......the quickest first step I have ever seen in a DL. Forget biased warm fuzzy awards. Chad took control of games.

Clearly, the guy who completed 68% of his passes with 28 TDs and 8 INTs (Mauck had 14, Flynn had 11) is your last choice, despite being the most efficient passer in college football during 2006.

Good luck winning that game.
