Not that easy and not that close. Forget about what you thinking I'm trying to tell you that dude is high. Michael Qualls is the only person higher in the SEC and that might be the whole country. That dunk was super easy for him because it was a breakaway and
he could get so close- he could've left from three feet further out and the result would've been the same I promise you.

He's super laid back, like a kid but this this is the reason we matchup with UK. That boy can get inside and elevate on pretty much about anybody. That's why he's probably leaving while Mickey is staying. He's special, especially in the nba. The skill set needs work but his bounce at that height is RARE. He'll go first round I guarantee it.

Misread the post. Thought you were asking about best LSU drunk in recent history. Would be too many to count.

I forgot who it was against but who here remembers Darrel Mitchell in his freshmen year coming down the lane and dunking a missed free throw at the end of the half and running straight into the tunnel?

that is absolutely the most fricking retarded thing I've ever read in my life. it's incredibly difficult even on a 7 foot goal for an above average athlete
I guess I'm a superior athlete then, b/c I weigh 260 now, 100 lbs more than my athletic high school weight, and can go in my driveway and do that on a 8 foot goal right now. It has more to do with ball control than hops.
Martin isn't Shawn bradley. Just b/c he's 6'10" doesn't mean he's clumsy. He's athletic, it wasn't that hard for him. If it was remotely difficult for him, he wouldn't have done it.

Didn't Shaq have a dunk where the defender was in the middle of the lane expecting a charge and Shaq went OVER him for the dunk? I think that was the best I've seen from an LSU player in a live game.

Just researched the Shaq dunk, It was a dunk after a missed shot as the defender was standing waiting for the rebound and Shaq jumped OVER the defender's head and slammed it home. Anyone want to see the Shaq dunk, just google, Shaq college dunk over defenders head.
You young'uns might like that dunk,

Glover Jackson had four powerful dunks against Rasheed Wallace and North Carolina back in the early 90's.
As a dunk connoisseur for the past 33 years, my vote goes to Jarrell Martin. To do that it a game is sick.

Ok, that Shaq dunk was better than martins by a mile.

My take:
Isolating the dunks itself, Jarrels wins. However when you look at the play Jabari wins. I don't know how much some of you saw Jabari play, but I was at that game and I promise you everyone in the building was holding their breath when he started dribbling down the court and it became obvious he wasn't going to pass out to a teammate to lead the break. He wasn't a big with great handles. For him to lead the break, fake the defender, and complete the play was absolutely spectacular.

probably a .0005% chance you go out to your driveway right now and do an easy bay dunk.
Couldn't do it on 8 and a half, did it on my second try on 8 feet, and I haven't played basketball in a gym in about 3 years.
I just about blew my ankles out trying on 8 and a half.
So where you want to meet so I can do it in front of you and collect my $100?

Ok but we arent talking about the fast break. Just the dunk. Jabari's dunk was easy as hell compared to Martin's and its not close. How can anyone even debate this?
DUNK A
One hand dunk off of one foot
DUNK B
East Bay
Its not close

I remember a dunk by Ronnie Henderson against Arkansas in the mid 90's. He took off from just inside the foul line. I couldn't find it on YouTube. It was the best dunk I have ever seen in person

Not really. There are nba dunk contestants that miss east bay dunks.
Has that dunk ever been done live during a game?
During a tie game, too.
