Todd Kinchen against a hihgly ranked A&M team (I think this was in 90 or 91 so it should still qualify). He won the game pretty much single handedly.

Others:

Josh Reed against Alabama. I think he had damn near 300 yards receiving.

Jamarcus slicing and dicing either Miss State or Kentucky. Neither opponent was that great but JR hardly threw an incompletion (I want to say he was 19/21 in one of them).

Kyle Williams on the road against Bama. This one may surprise some people but Wms. was dominant.

K Faulk against Kentucky (I think). I want to say he had 200+ yards and 4 TD's. I am discounting the UH game a bit due to his fumble(s).

Finally, the Diesel against Auburn.

Maybe not the best. but the best coming out party was Hilliard vs. Fla in 1982. Went there and beat them 31-5.

My favorite: Jacob Hester vs Fla

Stat wise: Cecil Collins vs Aub & Josh Reed vs Ala - Wow!

My honorable mention: Ryan Perrilloux - 2007 SEC CG

If he screws up we don't even sniff the title that year. Flynn was hurt, Pelini to Neb, and per ESPN, Miles to Mich.

There was tons of uncertainty swirling around the game and RP gave his finest performance as a Tiger, IMO.

Hester in the entire 07 season was some of the most clutch plays I've ever seen.

Came back and single handedly beat Houston with a PR for a TD, a run and I believe he caught a screen pass and broke it for a TD.....scored in every way possible....

and all of that was in the 2nd half as I recall...everybody assumed we were going to lose.

Anyone know what Reeds yards were in TN regular season game?

How bout Rohan's Passing yards?

I don't recall the Bama game people have posted, I just remember Davey getting the ball to Reed and him running like, well a running back after the catch. That's what he played in HS.

I think what added to the achievement was the fact that we were not in UTs league at that time.

End of story.

Yeah, because nobody ever ran with the ball as tough as Hester did. Not even this guy

hands down Hester vs UF in 07 and Faulk vs Houston in 99. Those are #1 and #2. Hester may get a light bit of the edge due to the ramifications of that game.

chad jones puts the team on his back at state and provides a goal line stand by himself.

faulk against houston

joe a at uf in 04. he was a mad man in that 4th quarter carrying the safety on his back into the endzone
