Auburn 07 could also be up there. Why not have Best 5 Tiger Stadium games of all time?

I don't think Auburn 07 can be considered in the same class as Florida 07. Auburn 07's ending was spectacular but honestly the entire game just wasn't as ridiculously awesome as the Florida game.

Yea, I too am an old timer, and I totally agree. That Notre dame game, Bert Jones - it was a lifetime memory.

This is the toughest question anyone can ask on theis board. My initial thoughts were,

88 Auburn
79 USC
97 UF

but after reading all the others, its a tough one.

I know it's hard to swallow that the Best game ever in Tiger Stadium was a loss, but hands down it's '79 USC game. That said, here goes:

1. '79 vs USC
2. '07 vs FLA
3. '71 vs. ND

I have only been to three games in Tiger Stadium. Two of them were blowout victories over Miss. St.

The other (my first) was the Earthquake Game against Auburn in 1988. I was a teenager and it was unbelievable. The reason that the crowd was so loud at the end is because the game was so frustrating. You had so much pent up emotion and it just exploded when Hodson threw that pass to Fuller on 4th down.

Amazing.

I got:

1. '59 vs. Ole Miss (Cannon's Halloween jaunt)
2. '88 vs. Auburn (Hodson to Fuller with 7 seconds left againt #4 in the nation)
3. '79 USC (Gutsiest performance in TS by an overachieving team)
4. '01 Auburn (Won the SEC for the first time in forever, and put LSU back on the map)
5. '97 vs. Florida (Beat #1 in the nation)

2004 Oregon State

Probably one of the most entertaining games ever. Heavy rain with a delay. Multiple fans running on the field including the famous streaker. Then the beaver Alex Serna missing the extra point in overtime.

UGA 03 was great for the "L-S-U" full on chant after UGA tied the game on the OMG screen pass. TS potential realized.

Legendary ... the night it rained oranges in Tiger Stadium

Didn't it rain oranges was when Tulane beat LSU 31-28? It was actually an exciting game, despite the loss. That is when it was a true rivalry.
