I said the same thing to myself. Maybe it’s their pitching that’s keeping them at the top?

They’re dangerous because they all are good. It’s not weighted a ton towards a few elite sluggers.

And yes their pitching is pretty filthy.

So the worst team in the league was the best defensive team… got it and 2 of the top 4 can’t play defense. I’ll take our position over moo state

In SEC games, I counted 40 at home and 28 on road

Yes. All the stats posted are SEC games only. There is a slight difference in SEC schedules since every team does not play 3 teams in opposite division, but it is the best way to compare teams in my opinion.

I’m confused because they said Crews was batting .398 in SEC games when he was 0-5 at that point, so how did he drop so much?

16 of Crews’ 21 home-runs have come during SEC play.

If that’s right, they have 64 during OOC games at home; a handful of others in Houston.

Seems like we are stronger with the long ball since we are close to a 50/50 split in SEC play whereas they are near 60/40. Their home field is a joke.

Omaha will reduce their perceived HR advantage; if they get there.

For reference, they played at Vandy and hit 3 HRs over the 3 games. We hit 11.

he tied for the lead in overall HRs and led the league in SEC-only HRs. This thread was about SEC-only stats, or so I thought

It will be interesting to see how Tenn does at Hoover since it’s a bigger park. They can definitely hit the ball with power but some of those they are used to seeing as HR’s will be long outs.
