I’m so glad Ben is alive. I hope Ben is able to heal and resume his activities as before this accident. In my humble opinion Ben is the best pitcher LSU has ever had on our baseball team and an overall great person and athlete.

When I was 7 years old circa 1994, Ben McDonald was getting his appendix removed and my neighbor's dad was his surgeon. In what is a clear HIPPA violation, I got my neighbor's dad to have him sign a baseball for me while recovering. Still have it to this day.
