For the sake of argument, let's say it's AU, UGA & BAMA.

What's the feeling then?

That we paid 10 million to fire a coach so we could stay the same on the field and regress in recruiting.

Why are we happy with 9-3? We literally just tried to fire Les for going 9-3.

How did they look is key for me. In the game the whole time and showing that gap has closed or like last year where there wasn’t a time where I said to myself we might win. I’m speaking vs the gumps of course.

9-3 performance by O should be considered equivalent to 11-1 in any other year

What the fuch is this?

9-3 is 9-3 and 11-1 is 11-1

O has been given every resource in the world and will have a more talent than every team he plays in ‘18 outside of Bama and Georgia.

We have a tough schedule? Our roster was hit hard by the draft?

If he can’t succeed with those 2 stipulations then he’s in the wrong place.

I am absolutely serious

Not all 9-3s are created equal

It all depends on strength of schedule and strength of your own team

Vanderbilt going 9-3 is insanely good

Bama going 9-3 is a bad season

Good Lord. We're back to comparing ourselves to Vanderbilt. What the hell is going on with this fan base?

NOBODY said that, but YOU said "We KNOW" as if we have a reason to KNOW Joe is the real deal. We don't KNOW, we HOPE.

So you're saying LSU is more on the level of Vandy than Bama. Noted.

Actually it looks like he’s saying not only that, but also that he’s okay with it.

I agree.

So when you pay 10 million dollars to fire your one coach. 1.5 million to get rid of another the next year and pay your DC 2.5 million dollars do you expect Vanderbilt results?

I am not comparing LSU to vandy

Some of you don’t realize how god damn difficult it is going to be to beat Alabama, Georgia, and Auburn all in the same year. Even Bama drops one game a year.

It requires every lucky bounce to run a gauntlet like that.

Why is is so much more difficult to win those games now though? The expectation has always that LSU win those games and to be in the top 10 annually. I can't grasp why there are all of these excuses for this regime, preemptive excuses at that.

Dude, this is our schedule literally every year, just replace UGA with another hot team. The only exception was last year, when the league sucked as a whole with the exception of Bama (and UGA whom we did not face). And we went....

9-3

So 9 equals 11 when O is coach?

Wow!

LSU is LSU regardless of coach or schedule. The program was built to expect 10+ win seasons and championships.

I for one don’t wish to go back to the days when the Liberty Bowl means a good season.

We are LSU we don’t lower expectations based on HC or schedule.

Perhaps Michigan “Men” do.

We don’t.

Can’t wait till the Miami game.
The negas will have to come up with a new negative narrative.
And they will....they will continue to be negative and move The goalposts

There is massive doubt that he’s the real deal. He’s done nothing to prove otherwise.
