I mean yeah, they came to the house of the 2026 cws champs. The show travels to Athens next week.

This is by far my biggest take. If the freshmen sucked, I'd feel a lot worse about this team going forward. But they look great and play with pride.

I have a hard time getting excited about sweeping SC. It's great and I'm glad they did and hope they get on a heater going into the SEC tourney.
I can't believe LSU is 7-12. If SC sux, then so does LSU right above them.

South Carolina was terrible, it's okay to celebrate the sweep but I wouldn't cheer too loud. We finally played a team that was worse than us. Paul left them weak in so many areas, I see why they fired him.

Braun played a ton pre-conference but was in a massive slump and needed to reset.
Patrick wasn't ready and isn't as good as any of the normal starting outfielders.
Serna was starting at least 2 games a weekend by the beginning of conference play.
Yamin likely wouldn't have made a difference anywhere when the entire roster was healthy.
We also hadn't won a game until this weekend since making the "lineup adjustments."
