So you believe O resembles a first year HC

Bingo

It’s the same predicament les was in.

With the right OC, O can do this.

It’s my opinion. Saban has “IT”, Sweeney, Meyer are probably the only current cocches who do.

You say this with no explanation except your childish Charlie Brown signature....I'm so not impressed.

GeauxTigerTM! You're an idiot. O is a finalist for National coach of the year because of the outstanding job he's done this year when absolutely no one gave the Tigers or the coach any chance at all for even having a prayer of making the playoffs.... O and team overachieved and yet folks like you still find fault. God Almighty could be coach and folks like you would still find fault and complain about something....

The 2 losses vs A&M and Fla had nothing to do with the HC

.

Then none of his wins had anything to do with the head coach.
You cant remove blame during a loss and give credit for a win.

I've seen improvement from the Miles era.

How?

Same record that got miles fired and had a worse offense than all but one of miles' offenses(2009).
He had the worst recruiting class in recent memory.BUT YEAH, ITS AN IMPROVEMENT.

By your metric, 5th full year, 28-32 W/L as HC.

Again O has reloaded or roster. He now has an incoming QB pipeline that we have not had since Jamarcus and Flynn. He figured out the need to recruit offensive tackles. Rather than the Miles method of recruiting guards and making one or two of them tackles.

Now with respect to our OC again scheme. Riddle me this how does our awful OC spend hours with a super bowl QB showing our film and scheme and convince him that this is the place for his top tier son. Ditto for Burrow.

Our offense problem is not scheme.

Some pretty top tier recruits think that Orgeron can do it.

We fell out of playoff contention after 2012 because our line of scrimmage talent fell off.

We are still clearly behind Alabama. Of course everyone else is too.

The Bama analyst program and atrength program is well ahead of ours.

We had dropped behind Georgia and Auburn. We are now on par with Georgia and Auburn. TAM has caught up to us.

We are in the toughest conference and toughest division in college football.

Sure, why not? Just need to get the top players just like any coach or team that gets there from the SEC (Can get there with lessor players if team is from other conferences other than SEC). Would help a lot to open up the offense like we saw after half time vs aTm. But a lot of that is predicated on getting better olineman and a top notch QB. Next season we should be a lot better in both areas, but unfortunate for us we are in the same conferance and division with Bama who is just such a roadblock now with Tua.

You are talking long ago with Miles. Miles in recent years was on a down ward trend.

Why even ask that question. He dam near did this year

Beat Florida and we should have won the last game (we got robbed multiple times)

Even if a loss to FLa and Bama there was a way to get there. If we win last week we are at 6th, and if Texas and Northwestern win we would make it with 2 losses.

However, if he would have showed some balls and had the right OC hired since last year or run that Halfback pass against Fla or in regulation against A&M (Last Drive- first down wins it!), then we would surely be close to the 4 man playoff this year. YES he can do it but needs to make a few more adjustments and stop playing to tie and play to win

the children of the opposition keep posting,

we have a bad OLine and Offense in a year that the SEC has some strong teams at the top and damn near made it.

Yes, we are not that far away, a little luck and we are in.
Had aTm gone our way, we could possibly be in it.

You would think that Mr football would know that. The good news is you'll get plenty of Les Miles trivia if that sort of thing interests you.

Rick hitting y’all with the FACTS.

O fans “feel” like things are better. That’s fine. That’s great. But when pressed for concrete examples of advancing the program to the next level, they go silent.
