Pelini

Orgeron thinks it is.

Aranda was analytical. He was smart. He was detailed. On the other hand. He seemed too analytical, almost to the point of overthinking things. There were plenty of times when we were weren't set or look confused at the snap. At times we seemed passive.

He was good but not great.

Pelini.

I need some fire on the sidelines.

I can relate to this.

I'm an analytical person and I tend to get in trouble over doing it.

I think Bo fits our mentality more than aranda schematically. this is a place where heavy blitzing, nasty defensive fronts are embraced more than what aranda was doing (and doing at a high level)

Aranda, but the great ones move on. It’s not like we had a choice. Hopefully Pelini isn’t past his prime.

Aranda decided to leave. If he wanted to stay he would be there another 5 years. Time to move on.

Aranda is a great DC, Pelini is a very good DC.

Pelini will be more animated. Maybe a slight step down but we have a damn good DC that will light a fire under our guys. I'm all in.

I think they are both top of the line defensive coordinators. So were Steele and Chavis. Aranda was my least favorite out of those four. I’m not saying he was worse, but I didn’t like his style. It was effective at stopping offenses, but it produced few turnovers.

I don’t think Aranda is an option anymore, so yes Pelini. Jump on board or leave.

What impressed me most about Aranda was his ability to limit opposing teams QBs that seemed to destroy everyone else almost on their own. He seemed to be able to implement a “wrinkle” or two that kept them in check for the most part. In today’s day and age of the Dual Threat QB that was a GREAT trait to have.

I'm biased towards Aranda just because of his proven success while at LSU but I think Pelini will do a great job

Do you actually know who bo pelini is?

Since you can’t choose Aranda because he’s not available.... give another choice

If you educate yourself better, you can say this was a wonderful move.

How old are you? Not trolling, do you remember Pelini when he was here before? He was pretty damn good.

I loved having Aranda, don't get me wrong. Pelini is going to be awesome and maybe better/more aggressive going forward.
